  1. Bernard’s ceiling is Klein ( the slightly younger version). I can’t see him starting full time unless he really develops
  2. Gotcha thanks. My timing comment was that this was in a thread about his elbow bruise which occurred in the pocket and happens all the time randomly to QB's, and not from additional wear and tear taking off running.
  3. I don't understand your timing in this case with this. We are talking about an arm being hit while passing in the pocket. How is that acting or treating our QB needlessly compared to any other, and diminishing on his longevity? Wasn't your point about Josh running past the LOS when we previously discussed this?
  4. I think Cook is starting to look pretty good and it shows with where they are putting him in during game situations. Also, hoping Shakir figures things out pretty quick here, as he's shown a lot of good signs. Elam, having faced lots of #1's has been up and down (couple excellent picks and some tight coverage plus giving up a ton of underneath outs) but his athletic ability and apparent work ethic looks like he'll get there eventually. Benford has played solid yet unspectacular so far. Bernard? ehhh. we'll see!
  5. Bernard was out of position a LOT in the run game. We noticed that as well.
  6. ... And that's where the analysis goes to crap with Morse being listed as replacement level. Dawkins and Morse are both above average, top quarter of the league at their positions guys, in both the run game and the pass game. Morse is an athletic center and better suited in the Pin and Pulls we run in the ground game. Funny irony - if we did run the ball a lot more (which we definitely don't need to do, we just need to be effective enough at it, and also utilize the short passing game more!) then Saffold and Quessenberry's grades would probably look a lot better because those guys are above average run blockers, but (far) below average pass blockers. Stats and grades woot!
  7. hmm. I certainly want to take your word for it, but it just makes no logical sense that they could have that info. They are in no way associated with the team. Unless there is a Bills staff member that's also a member of the slack channel. But then that person would be fired before long. Maybe they have a relationship with a player or two?
  8. Also, cover1 (slack channel or not) has no inside track to the Bills medical related news
  9. I feel like JP is getting too many reps for his skill set. He’s a very good penetrator but not great at the point of attack. I like him in third downs
  10. I thought it would have been worth challenging. It was for sure a pick, but as Simon mentioned it was one of those that would be hard to get them to over turn.
  11. Von and Edmunds were the only two players that played well at all today on defense. Yet here we are in classic TBD fashion. There are experts people constantly ignore that point out real answers for what happened in the game. There’s one posting alot of facts in here right now. D line was awful today as was Josh and Gabe
  12. Fellow flat-earther possibly? 😀
  13. For those that think Hines has anything to do with Cook, it doesn't. Cook is just getting started after his slow start. It's clear ON THE FIELD that the coaches are trusting him more and more (he was in on a whole 4th quarter drive with the lead shrinking away due to those foolish couple throws by Josh). And Cook is showing good signs now of his value in our scheme. Side note ... Ain't nothing do to with Singletary either. He's doing exactly what they need him to out there.
  14. Na… he’ll compliment Singletary. This is a receiving back. A good one. Singletary is a better runner in the ground attack
  15. 100 polled madden Gm's agree with the premise of this stupid thread
  16. Why would the Bills be after a rb? I just don't understand this whole tired bit of speculation. They clearly like Singletary under this contract (who is plenty good for what we do.... annually a 5 ypc back) and Cook is now rapidly developing trust, and the Bills run less than 20 times per game esp when you remove Allen carries. I don't believe that any Bills inquiries legitimately get leaked in the media since McD and Bean took over.
  17. There's some truth to that. A lot of times it doesn't. It has been attempted unsuccessfully many times vs Josh. But at times, with good timing and the right athlete in place (Milano yesterday!) it works most effectively! Kudos to Frazier.
  18. Not sure if this has been brought up already but check out 16:19 into the game Romo comments - “ this is going to be a 24-20 kinda game “ . Incredible!
  19. The Bills sure seem to have a handle on managing their players injury recovery paths. I think it's yet another variable that will attract future FA's.
  20. Crazy seeing Geno up there. Good for him! Josh takes this one though...
  21. how do you avoid the vomit emoji's for saying essentially the same thing I'm saying? LOL Some of these posters are desperate to give up our #1 pick!
