  1. Nice contribution Helmet Your statement has no relevance to what was posted. Why bother?
  2. I definitely agree on your point about Coy Wire. I think the Pat's staff is simply drooling over the possibilities of abusing him in all phases. The Bills defensive staff will need to have game-planned in a way to "cover him up" creatively. I'm a little more hesitant than you Simon in regards to getting the Pats into the 3-4. The 3-4 provides them more avenues for "mentally" attacking our offensive line. There are many more masked coverages and blitz possibilities that can be run from the 3-4 and it will require our O-line to be communicating at their highest level, which they have not been able to accomplish to date. Good post...
  3. I wonder if the team feels that Marcus Price would not be suitable as a starting RT? He's been solid in there in the past. I wonder if his injuries have just slowed him too much...
  4. MW's problems aside, Peter King has absolutely no idea what he's talking about there. I hate when the football media makes up stevestojan, it's annoying. Mike needs to improve in pass protection Yes, and fast, but those comments are from left field and are unfounded.
  5. I'm sure that's part of the story, but the crowd I speak of was there leading up to (from Levy's arrival onward), and long after the glory days on into the late nineties.
  6. HD don't kid yourself. It's not the Branch's and Watson's that worry us, It's the QB, the Coach, and the Defense. You will be at no evident disadvantage without the Players you mentioned.
  7. Yeah, it's a shame though that our crowd used to be twice as loud, hardcore , and saved the bickering til after the games. We could be a lot more of a factor than even BB mentions...
  8. I was there............ and left in the 4th quarter because I had my Pop-Warner awards banquet that evening ! I begged my father to stay til the end but he wanted to beat traffic and figured we had no chance of winning :-(
  9. Would you expect any less from the TBD experts?
  10. Meanwhile, others reply to the football side of your post and you offer no debate? (or than "no , you're wrong")
  11. Hey Ice, just exactly what on "film" am I supposed to be seeing to show me that EM has declined to such a degree? Sorry bud, I look, but I don't see it. All I see is a guy who's trying too hard to win for his team. Speed's there, routes are there, quickness, strength/ stiff arm is there. That's pretty much standard EM. Looks good to me. He's just gotta settle down a little.
  12. Freak, don't let ICE get to you
  13. I have plus I've seen him live in camp. Also I've been following him in camp closely ever since he became a bill so I have something to compare it to. Believe me, he is every bit the WR he was in 2002. I'll give you that he's not at the '98 level but that's beside the point.
  14. EM is not done. You could not be more wrong about him ICE. In fact, his speed and strength are back to where he was in 2002. The problem you've seen with him in 2 measely weeks is that he is trying too hard to make a play and not concentrating on the fundamentals (like catching the ball first, and going down when the play is over instead of trying to break 2 and 3 tackles). Also, ICE.... Do you think you were a little bit off on your Roy Williams (WR) assesments?????
  15. On the goaline especially, any back worth his salt will go to the hole he is assigned to, which he did (and scored). If you still want to blame something here, blame TH's inconsistent blocking on pass protection and blame the coaches for putting Euhus in as a goal line TE.
  16. Funny though you don't mention how the Jacksonville D stymied the vaunted Bronco running game, or the Raiders did the same to the Steelers. Our running game will be fine but isn't going to show "great" numbers until we face a team that isn't excellent vs. the run and we develop more of a threat in the passing game.
  17. Bingo! They never said it. Ok, End of thread. (yeah right)
  18. no chance in hell that play was going to be overturned in that stadium regardless of whether or not he made it. It was also too inconclusive to be overturned within the tight time constraints given of an NFL game in which the television networks demand a 3 hour time slot. I'm not sure what our time out situation was at the time....
  19. I'm sorry, and with all due respect, but please pont me to all these great posts
  20. Thats a pretty good one there
  21. Don't pollute this thread with facts!!! We are trying to be mad at TD here
  22. It happens so often that it almost makes you paranoid, and too embarrassed to talk about it with anybody out of fear that they might call you crazy :-) Last time I can recall was the Philly game last year with 5 or 6 admitted phantom penalties. Like 4 of them ended drives.
  23. I've given up some seriously big runs while playing the quarters D on third down. Try lowering the "break block" sliders way down for "human". That should do it. What level are you playing on?
  24. Please elaborate....
