  1. Hoping somebody dies is a little bit different than criticism
  2. You've actually just unknowingly made a very sound case for why getting the extra 1st THIS YEAR for our QB of the future and giving it up next year was a very good move.
  3. Point: All of those fans who have called for DB's head ad nauseum (which is like 80% of this board) cannot also at the same time B word about next year's draft and state that TD "squandered" a first round pick on JPL, getting him basically a year early and training him within the system a year early. You can't have your cake and eat it too....
  4. I can see how it would look that way too. Although if TH would have run the right way (as in faking the scissors play off RG that worked all day) that would have been the focus of the LB.
  5. TH still weighs about 205- 210. His mental deficiencies should the cause of your frustration regarding his play this season. Going the wrong way on 2 important plays today was inexcuseable. Slipping on the turf on 3rd and 2 was likely also a mental error as he couldn't contain himself seeing that huge hole infront of him between RG and RT.
  6. If I'm interpreting this post correctly, you are piece of stevestojan loser.
  7. That is exactly right. MW today = good to very good game. Other notes on the O-line: -Jennings is good Ouch did we need him in there late in the 4th or what? -Tucker did an ok job filling in at Center.
  8. Those defenders actually came inside of MW.
  9. Schobel had a dissapointing day today for sure. He was handled one on one all day and was not a factor. This does not mean suddenly that he's a bad player and that TD is a fool for re-signing him at a decent price.
  10. good anal ysis
  11. Played well today until the final Drive when the game was hopeless. Did not give up a sack and blocked well for Travis. (sorry these are facts from today ;-) )
  12. You nailed it Travling Dad. That's exactly how it happened and exactly the coaching philosophy behind the call. Henry Absolutely blew it on the play. As did the Lineman.
  13. Josh Reed is a training camp superstar. He fools me every season as I watch him at camp catching everything in sight, and playing quick and agressive. Then comes the regular season. I guess he needs another 2 or 3 games before he's ready for the season <sarcasm> .
  14. I gotta agree with all but 9 and 12. I strongly disagree with those 2, but strongly agree with the 11 others...
  15. Since you can now set pre-snap adjustments for defensive player assignments, set a double- team on Harrison manually on every passing down, have your MLB drop into medium middle zones often, put your best corner on Reggie Wayne (since you're doubling Marvin), and rush with a DL. If your DL does not pressure the qb, try to stand your man up and jump as Manning begins to throw. This strategy will basically challenge the colts to use Edgerin James to beat you (which he still could )
  16. I was six years old, standing in the corner in the first grade because I had just told my teacher where to go when she tried to get me to write my name right handed instead of left. Needless to say by second grade I was going to a different school. B)
  17. Best wishes for your Grandmother...
  18. bump for this comment alone!
  19. I'll try to be there as well. ..
  20. The reference was to Physical dominance, ie wearing them out, having them on their heels, controlling the clock etc. The reference was not to mental or overall dominance. Enough already
  21. Simon , let me be the first to appologize for all the clutter on what began as a very cool thread....
  22. Maybe you should ask him yourself.... We dominated Physically on offense meaning we ran the ball right at them and continued to do it wether they knew it was coming or not. We had a huge T.O.P. edge in the game, and the only thing that stopped our drives were mental miscues. I realize you are not a Bills fan so you wouldn't have seen this in depth into the game in week 1.
  23. In week one, buffalo dominated from a physical standpoint on O, even though they lost. This is what I , and ultimately Simon, was refering to. I'm sorry you couldn't grasp that mr. reading is fundamental. re: my response to Helmet... I see nothing negative about what I said.
  24. Actually it was you who began the petty attempt at reading comprehension violations patrol Also, I know that if Simon wanted to point out week one of LAST season, he would have stated "week 1 of last season". That was also not a game where we "physically punished" the Pats via the running game, so that was another clue for ya B)
  25. Actually no he didn't smartass. Try reading again typical He referenced week 1 of THIS year Einstein.
