Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
34-78-83 replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes he is. Look at the #2's across the league. He's somewhere in the middle of that pack. -
Lots of 12 personnel coming ( 2 wr, 2 te, 1 rb), I love that! Peyton Manning offense which can dictate to the defense! If he pans out this is great for the offense.

Not being able to make the massive salary work with our almost entirely filled cap does not equal "sit on his hands". Classic short-sighted NFL fan commentary. As if you or I EVER have any idea how hard they try to make certain things happen. -

The 2011 Home Win vs the Pats. I was coaching for my son's pop-warner football team and tried to block out all of the Bills related commentary in the stands so I could watch the game on my dvr later that day. Everything was going fine until the PA announcer at the school said "the score was tied with less than a minute left in the Bills Patriots game" 😀 I still watched it of course!

Peter King/FMIA/PFT 1st Round Mock Draft

Reasonable reply even though I still wouldn't touch it. If that were the case though, they better then trade away Cook for some value for it to make any sense at all. -
Peter King/FMIA/PFT 1st Round Mock Draft

Regardless of how good he is or where he lands, that move would make less than zero sense for the Bills with the QB they have, the offense they run with and the RB personnel they already have in place (Cook is perfect for this offense, and Harris can get needed yards). It would be amongst the worst drafting strategies in Bills history, and there have been some bad ones especially the ones outside of Beane and Polian. -
I looked at moving our 3 but ultimately didn't want to eat the additional cost of jumping into the 200 level.

I really like some of the lineman that should be available to us in this year's draft too. I just won't assume they'll acclimate to the NFL game as rookies. That's pretty rare. The recent 2 good OL the Chiefs picked took 2 years before they were playing consistently for example. Doesn't mean I wouldn't still draft them but... -

Singletary—inarguably above average statistically: discuss

enough of your facts. You and the OP are doing a very good job of this all while maintaining composure. What I find the most funny here is the assumption that most responders seem to be making - that you think DS should start over James Cook (I presume that not to be the case bc why would he right??) You are merely saying that DS is a solid back that is quite good at making people miss. A good fit for RB2 if the right price is reached. But but but 4th and 1! Yeah QB's do those now, people. -
What’s your offer for WR Jerry Jeudy?
34-78-83 replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
On a team that needs multiple WR's in the stable to achieve their goal, you don't trade one or 2 of them away (especially Gabe lol who is a good not great WR2 that had a year of too many drops) to get another one. You try to acquire them and make Gabe your #3 or 2B. Silly peoples.- 248 replies

Nyhiem Hines Restructures - Takes a pay cut to stay in Buffalo.

for the and knee-jerk detractors or those in panic - this thread from one of our local cap experts helps describe the situation with Hines - -

I think the Eagles D and 49ers D have proven to have the same exact concerns stopping Mahomes and KC this year for example. Are you saying there is some defensive approach or alternative that ANY team can take in facing those elite offenses? I don't think it has anything to do with Edmunds when it comes to facing those type of offenses. All the D schemes and approaches out there seem to get beat just as easily. With that said I think it comes down to if Edmunds will accept a Mosley-esque type contract or a long extended contract as you mentioned or not. The Roquan contract would obviously be too much for the production.

What defenses do well against the great offenses with any consistency in this era? (Its a trick question)
