the protocol doesn't change due to it being a 2nd or 3rd occurrence, that I've seen

On a team with a good offense that more often will be punting closer to midfield, a punter that can get you Inside the 20/ inside the 10 numbers is what you want, not avg or net avg even. With that said, that's where Martin has been really killing it for the last 5 weeks. Haack? We shall see, but best option out there, especially due to the familiarity and proven holding consistency.

Wow that’s incredible how deeply we are in their heads that they think the Bills, of all teams, are getting preferential treatment! -
Dang you beat me to it!!!!

Josh GOES OFF and SLAMS nflpa over All-Pro snub
34-78-83 replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
To be fair, the actual All Pro team isn't out yet. They were speaking about the NFLPA all pro team, which is whatever... -
There are ways for you to ensure that. Ways right here in this message board

Anyone see what happened to Dodson?

Its accurate to point out that a MLB in this defense should get some good #'s and opportunities, to Edmunds discredit, but I think its also a discredit to Bernard's ascension to think that his current list of impressive #'s would be fully "expected" in this defense. He has surpassed those expectations with such a full stat sheet, and I was one of those that were 100% down on him until he got on the field in meaningful games this season! His arrival may have saved the season more than any player other than maybe R Douglas, with what happened with Milano.

I was there at this sunny opener... Yep , this was a huge Andre Reed game! Those who were never able to see him much would get a brief microcosm of how he played the game by watching this one!

This will be the first game I miss in 27 years. Thanks NFL

Were there bear tracks and a white powdery substance about? -
Van Roten is not good. This doesn't change that.

Nice post and good observations. Agreed with much of it. We saw very hard hitting Bills team (especially in the trenches on both sides) out there. As we were walking back to our car after the game, we had the post game show streaming on my phone and the first thing we heard from the host "Bulldog" was that it was not a particularly out of the ordinary game from a physical sense... I think the post-game show needs a new host. Just wow! Sucks that we are forced to listen to that if we want to hear the post-game press conferences right away.

It’s Dallas week and the Division is on the line!

Funny stuff there Simon! Made me think of the original Healy - -
90% of our fans miss the deal.... Too much narrow focus on if he is a #2. Gabe is fine ..... As a #3 or #4. Pay him accordingly and its perfectly fine to have him on our team.

I am aware thanks. Still hopeful since he seemed ok on sidelines... hence the prayer emoji -

It was cute that someone said Hyde wasn't playing well when he was in (haha), but I am really hoping he's able to get in there this week 🙏 -
Monday night games - Dolphins/Titans, Giants/Packers

Gotta be the head coach right? I mean fair is fair, LOL! -
There's this thing in outdoor games called pre-game warmups where the kickers for both teams and their coaches get together and determine what maximum distance they are comfortable with in the conditions, and other factors (like endzone tunnel or no endzone tunnel, swirling winds or winds in a specific direction, etc.). It was talked about on the radio pre game that even Butker (a consensus great kicker with a big leg) was maxed out at about 55-57 for this game. It showed when Reid did not have him attempt a 59 yarder in the game. No, this is not yet another something you can nit-pick the sh%$ out of as a McD problem. Well, you can, but you would be wrong.

The WR screen called there is essentially a run call. Its an extremely high percentage completion rate call (like over 85% completion rate) that it looks like Josh called as an RPO since the inside was completely filled with defenders. Diggs (our most sure handed WR) catches that 95 times out of 100 and we have our 3-4 yard run play.

Not the case. That was the deception of the angle. Von wasn't off side. There are reviews of that available out there that clearly show it. Another thing that happened in the game is the KC defenders held our receivers all 2nd half, on most plays. This is a practice that goes all the way back to when your head coach was a DC for the Giants. Essentially the idea is get 'grabby and holdy' and bank on the refs to not throw a flag every time. KC has adopted this practice for a number of years now. I don't usually see KC do this until playoff time, but they were out in full force doing it yesterday afternoon. Aside from that, if you want to say Murray's 'catch' was a drop, then ok so was Kelce's earlier in the game. Poor reffing in our game yesterday? Yes. In the Bills favor? No I'll take it though one day when we do get more breaks than the other team!

Martin was extremely good in this game. He has had a tough year, however. Bass was money today. 62 was out of his range in the conditions. Butker passed on a 59 yarder for the same reasons out there.

I hope that Beane stops listening to McDermott when drafting
34-78-83 replied to margolbe's topic in The Stadium Wall
Different years, different needs that made sense at the time to form a complete team. Diggs was also a high pick essentially... a plug and play one. Keep drafting offense, yes, I agree. Also, McD is NOT undermining Beane picks which is the attempted point of this thread. It's 100% unfounded.
