Have very high hopes for him. Very high on Him and White , hope they are going to be staples for the O and D -
Just talked to a former player from the SB years

It definitely feels that way. I'm also cautiously optimistic that we play as a team come regular season and handle business,be highly competitive -

Extended Rumor is this is being set up already, after seeing the numbers May Mac did. Special guest referee is Johnathan Martin! -

I admit I have a bad eye for judging an OL but even I could tell Duc looked absolutely awful.. Dawkins looked impressive minus 1 play. Miller looked solid.

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season week 3
JerseyBills replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ok? Did we allow a 20+ yard run? (Honestly asking, don't believe so) , I'm also almost positive their ypc were extremely low, I watched first half,I thought run and pass D were stout. Think they did much better than OK. This is going to be a fun D to watch.. -

I'm going by regular season stats, not 15 minutes of playing time in the pre season.95 QB rating 37 TD 12 Int Give me those numbers with a very good D and we're instant contenders -
Dareus sent home for violating a team rule
JerseyBills replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seriously. He's an absolute beast. Offenses have to spend time game planning around him. You can't treat him like a regular player, for money and talent reasons. If Dareus can dominate like he should, he takes an already good looking D to the next level -
Dareus sent home for violating a team rule
JerseyBills replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jason is a Baltimore guy and very credible. Sounds like he was awfully late. I love that he got some tough love. On a positive, it's week 3 of pre season, hopefully this can turn out to be a positive, as Dareus realizes there's zero room for error.I think he knows he so naturally skilled that he can slack off and still play at a high level. Apparently his conditioning and commitment have been impressive so far. Coaches and players have both said it. The hope is Dareus embraces that role and dominates, if this is the worse Dareus news I hear, I'll take that every year -

I hope he can go, with our defense looking extremely stout, we just need a QB to not lose games. Despite what we seen in Pre season, I think our run game will still be elite, plus Glenn and Matthews are big upgrades on that side -

We really do, and we got some quality depth behind him. That can be a disruptive group on the DL -
The Insanity of Tanking Talk
JerseyBills replied to Flip Johnson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last year's draft should end up as a goodie I'm. Feel Shaq will be a stud, Adolphus is going to be good, Seymour and Williams as well. That's four major contributors plus a talented Ragland who hopefully comes on.This year's draft I like too. White being a stud allowed the Darby trade and we have a number one cb for five years. -

I'd take It a step further and say if we can stay relatively healthy we could be a contender now. Imo it all comes down to how improved our defense is, and I believe through scheme and coach change, they will vastly improve. A top 10 D combined with our Elite run game has always been a recipe for success in the NFL, through every era, including today's NFL, and we could realistically have both , I also have hope Taylor will improve his pass game but at the very least he will not lose us games -
Wow, Darby is looking great tonight...

Lol. Funny, I thought of Mckelvin too.. Mayock nailed it saying he has trouble locating the ball in air, which is true. Also said he has had an inconsistent career, I completely agree, his last 20 games with Buffalo were average at best. Has elite physical tools , which I agree but gotta locate that ball or them tools don't mean much.. Random thought about the game - Sammy's lil bro Jaylen (I think) Watkins can play CB -
The Bills' D Looks Strong Two Weeks into Preseason
JerseyBills replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Which will be in less than a month. The staple of this offensive passing attack will be play action , we were more vanilla on O than I expected which is why I am not worried about the O regressing. This O runs through Shady, who is a generational talent and looks great. Taylor is an elite runner , LB''s and S will consistently bite. Look at that Seattle game as a perfect example of what this O should resemble. We had that great D on their toes all game, on the road, because of our run game and PA. Dennison will put Taylor in favorable passing situations once the real games start. Play action will be a huge part of this attack. Clay and Shady will have a much bigger impact in passing situations. What we witnessed last night by the O will be night and day from what we see in September. And yes, this D is back. Forget the names, they look good as a whole, which is all that matters. They look disciplined, decisive and play fast. Tackling has also improved big time. Deep breath guys. -
Pre Season. Vanilla as it gets for our offense. Mark my words- Trod is going to do major damage running a lot of Play Action. For starters he's actually very good at disguising PA. With his elite running ability and Shady being amazing, LB and S bite, often. For reference - Turn on that Sea game, In Seattle, primetime, we killed them with the PA. Guys wide open all day. It's a staple of this scheme, and Zay,Q,Matthews,Streater and Holmes are light years ahead of 2016 Watkins, 2016 Woods, Glass Goodwin, and Hunter, Tate or Powell. Also definitely anticipate Clay and Shadys targets to increase a ton. Let's take a deep breath guys. Majority of DL are beating OL in first couple pretty season games. Like I said, what we saw tonight versus what we'll see in September is night and day. Not happy about the poor offensive showing but definitely not ready to hit the panic button.

McBeane should of given
JerseyBills replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd bet a ton of $ that his numbers go way up in the 4th quarter. Better scheme. More reliable WR that will hold on to the ball in traffic. I recently watched some games from last year and his WR really failed him late in games, as well as his defense. Improved WR corp, improved D, better scheme fit (more play action, which is deadly with 2 elite runners in TT and Shady),will all equal a better Taylor this year. He has a unique skillet that if used right can make him a deadly QB. i think Dennison has a clear vision how to use Taylor in this way. -
Absolutely. I feel McB,Beane,Dennison realized Sammy is expendable because of Shady . I anticipate him used much more in the pass game and heavy PA, which last year, caused lbs and s almost always biting because they are so worried about Shady AND Taylor. There's really not much you can do to prepare for that combo leading up to the week. PA will be Taylors bread and butter, let our big targets sit in the open spots and move the chains. Shady is a rare player, top 10 on offense imo, would be extremely hard to replace his impact.

Hasn't Leonard Johnson been running with the 1s in the slot? I know Seymour just came back but looks like Johnson has been very impressive
