I agree but I think Worthy might be a good sign that Dareus is back on track , and we all know he has the skills to be the best player on D. And I'm just done questioning McD's decision making as far as player personnel. Seems to have an amazing grasp of who is the right guy to be on the field. Definitely interesting inactives

Really nice write-up about this defense, going as far to say it's one of the best TEAM defenses he has seen in years. I think he bounces back, he made a couple plays , was doubled ,which frees up other guys. He's definitely not playing up to potential obviously,the hope is being surrounded by a defense fully brought in ups his play. I think he gets much more snaps after coming back from injury and this is the OL to do it against. Him and Worthy back at DL ,Shaq back at DE certainly doesn't hurt this rotation in any way. If we can get Dareus back to dominant play, this D will be that more lethal

I literally had the same thoughts, impressive 3.5 games, next couple weeks is typically when teams can start scheming up more detailed towards his game, which I think is going to severely decline. Reason he didn't win the job in TC

I agree, 27 is the age where RB typically decline, I didn't realize you posted that, as I respect your opinion alot . I still respectfully disagree, I just think the oline hasn't given him the holes. Denver,he had two catches , late in the game where he looked better than ever. I think he looks as good as he has ever looked, just not much room out there right now, I expected to see a decline honestly I just haven't seen it in his game personally

Shady has not lost a step. That's ridiculous, numbers don't always tell the whole story, he looks 5 years younger out there

That # will come down as Taylor is proving he has to be respected in the pass game, but I think it's just an adjustment period,Shady looks phenomenal and is making more of an impact in the pass game. Still though, one of the keys to last weeks win ,that hasn't been mentioned much was that impressive 11 minute drive to the 1 yard line that ended in 3 unfortunately, but 11 min with 10 straight runs I believe was a dominant display, the run game has shown glimpses , just got to get some consistentcy

I agree. I mentioned this earlier in week,Hughes is playing at an elite level right now, he's become a special DE imo, and right up there with the best in the game. He can do it all, stop run, and get consistent pressure.. He should have a huge impact at Cincy

Think he was comparing Peters or White to Byrd. But very good point. Hyde is also much more versatile, can pretty much play any position in secondary and is a natural leader

Absolutely.You gotta think McD/Beane specifically targeted Gaines as a long term solution as #2 CB, he should definitely come at a reasonable price and bingo , we got a starting secondary for 4 + years .. Got a funny feeling we won't be doing the 2-3 year coach change this time , trust the process! Change the culture..
