  1. Thanks for blessing us with your sources, this is true insider info! Don't know how you make the time between your High End business meetings..
  2. Yes that's very true. And for a rookie RB that got playing time from week 1, that takes a brutal toll on the body. Goes from combine , all draft stuff,to off-season and I'm sure by December he was just beat up. He's never played that many games in a season and whatnot. I think he'll have a successful career and all, just feel he's very over hyped.
  3. Looks like a bust to me . I think we saw the golden era in QBs and won't see that type of quality at the position for quite some time. I think expectations should be lowered for young qbs He very well could be but definitely wasn't this year. Fournette is SO much hype. So 1 dimensional, isn't a big threat in pass game. I'd love him as a late 2nd or 3rd rounder but he is vastly overrated imo. Look at what he did against us and NE, not much , 1 dimensional
  4. I think we could be serious contenders for Ziggy, Hughes is Soo much better than the numbers imo. He just didn't have any consistentcy on the other side, all his pressures could roll right and escape. You got Lawson in the mix too , so we instantly have a very good DE group. Go DT in the draft, DE in FA . Great fit from a scheme/talent standpoint, I'd be lying if I said I knew about his work ethic and if he fits the mentality, but I'm all in with this front office, their decision making has won me over already , after some brutal years
  5. Bad day? Only truth is being said, looks like you can't handle the truth man. They proved once again they are the best of the best . Down 10 with a quarter to go , that offense put on a clinic. Jacksonville could have started by converting a 3rd down or stopping a 3rd and 18 . I'm done hating on them. They earned a SB berth, deal with it
  6. Sure why not. I see ppl claiming they won't tune in because NE made another SB. Sorry to say, they deserved that game. I hate them as much as the next man. But their defense and offense outplayed the young Jags when it mattered. Jax was 6/10 on 3rd down going into the 4th qtr . 0 for in the 4th, giving up 14 points, I saw ONE questionable call by refs that I actually agreed with, so I think this should be re assessed in a week or so when people cool down and are not in their emotions so much. NE deserved the W if I'm being real.
  7. Yes! I was Soooo refreshed watching our #1 CB outplay him as a rookie , White was more consistent than I've ever seen Gilmore on a game by game basis
  8. Exactly. We will see some big time upgrades this off-season and really reap the benefits of these moves imo. They're trying to build a consistent contender and i think it's a lock we are more talented than this year where we got 9 wins. Love the direction of this franchise. Hopefully Glenn is the next one to be dealt, or moved to RT, Dawkins is a stud Our secondary is one of the best in league and very young overall. They're going to be a cornerstone in building the defense.
  9. Basically got Darby for Benjamin. Matthews will move on. But also the reason we got Gaines who I anticipate we'll re-sign. I'd rank White/Gaines/Hyde/Poyer a top 3 secondary and all are young! They are going to be even better with the inevitable influx of talent in the front 7. The Darby trade doesn't bother me one bit , obviously wasn't a fit for this scheme, and McD knows his secondary.
  10. Well Gilmore was too expensive and Darby basically got us Kelvin Benjamin (JMatt is gone imo ) and also big part we got Gaines. Ultimately we completely upgraded our secondary, unloaded a contract on a guy that was underperforming big time in 99. I'm a fan of the moves , we'll really see the benefits this off season.
  11. Yea I think the emotion and hugging is because both coordinators are gone , nothing more, definitely got no indication or feeling this is his final year.
  12. I saw one BS call I remember. The pi call. Jax didn't convert a 3rd down in 4th qtr. NE deserved the come back W.
  13. The refs had no impact. I hate em too but I have to respect what I just witnessed. I'd kill for a Bills offense capable of coming back like that against the top D nonetheless. Alot of hating in this thread
  14. Respect to the Pats. They deserved that game.
  15. The guy who had a perfect game plan with less talent on Defense. Belicheck needed to take notes.
  16. We could be here. Making me a lot more appreciative just how good McD is at game planning on D
  17. Good point. Forgot about the WNY connection, and yes makes sense from that standpoint for sure. I'm also thinking he didn't want to be in Brady/Belichecks shadow maybe? He was basically a lock to replace McDaniels, I'm still curious why he was so quick to sign here. I think he sees a franchise on the right track,on the brink of being a consistent AFC contender with the core talent and draft capital/FA money he can bring in his type of WR, number 2 RB,and obviously QB. Also has tons of Intel on NE, such a good hire on so many levels. I don't care about his past in the NFL. Imo he grew alot as a coach in NE and Alabama. Haven't felt this good about the direction of this franchise in my life!
  18. I'm still suprised we landed him. It just hit me about the Belicheck/Saban connection as well. He was obviously highly recommend by Belicheck to his good buddy Saban, and was groomed to replace McDaniels imo. Pleasently surprised he took the job so quickly. I love the hire. I love our aggressiveness by our front office, we wasted no time , and got our guy and most likely ruined NEs plans this off-season
  19. Damn Robbie is Litt in that picture. Eyes extremely glassy lol, damn near like a mirror. I'd be lying if I said I never been there lol
  20. Yea so frustrating. They moved the ball too , got first downs, just bad starting field position and inconsistent play killed us. I love that we immediately and aggressively addressed the issue from a scheme perspective though, probably taking NEs next OC, great hire I'm, he has grown alot as an OC. He definitely missed some easy ones but alot of that is attributed to fooling him with our coverages and having Bortles off balance, panicking and ultimately being inaccurate .McD did a fabulous job of disguising coverages all year and we got pressure at a decent rate. We allowed one red zone trip ! And really should have never allowed the first FG before half, terrible play calling on O there. The D has some really nice pieces, that secondary ,as a whole is at least top 3 .
  21. He did have too many negative plays and they are drive killers, but I think so much was on the OC , Shady looked great to me as far as burst, vision , catching and cutting ability. It was just a broken scheme. I think he has at least 2 elite years left. He doesn't take hits like the average RB , I would like to add a fairly high RB in the draft to complement him.
  22. I know!! We likely advance in playoffs with the Roman scheme. Where was the zone read?!? That was our bread and butter with Tyrod/Shady and reason we were one of the top red zone teams in 15 and 16. Boggles my mind why coordinators change dominant aspects of the O or D..
  23. I'm happy how things ended up for us. Think Beane and his scouts are top of the line, and love McD. McD/Beane have a great relationship, I think McD has long term success, not sure about St Doug
