Wow that's impressive. With 3 studs surrounding him , the secondary guru in McD, good luck passing on this secondary. Love the signing

No question about it. No Fly Zone is in effect!!! Just imagine how much better they can be with an upgraded front 7 too!! Davis is a pure ,born to play football player, perfect fit for this roster.

Anybody find the lack of Defense in the NFL boring?
JerseyBills replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I totally agree. I thoroughly enjoy great defensive battles. I miss the lack of defensive battles and can't stand the rules favoring offenses. I was almost angry that people were complaining about the Bills/Jags Wildcard game, I thought it was exciting and thrilling and figured most the ppl complaining were casuals who probably only care about their fantasy team. -
I totally agree. I'm very aware how the system works considering my gf works in an institution and psychology has always intrigued me, as well as personal experiences with friends. I'd say 6 -10 weeks roughly, depending the diagnosis and the level of risk they establish. Most of the medications take time to take affect and time is needed for doctors to evaluate how a person is responding to these meds.

Bills can kill 2 birds with 1 stone
JerseyBills replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't be mad at this at all I'm still wondering what happened to Miller though, I thought he had a bright future. I also think Glenn is as good as gone , anytime you can play a LT on a rookie contract that's a huge advantage for your Franchise. -
Buffalo Bills a Prime FA destination?
JerseyBills replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Buffalo gained a huge boost in being an attractive FA destination by making the playoffs. Shows we are capable of winning immediately and showed off the best fan base in the league. If they didn't know prior they know now just how important the Bills are to the community and will be treated like a king if they ball out. -
True..But if they deem him to be mentally unstable and/or at risk to hurt himself or others they can keep him for however long they feel is needed. Almost certain he will be committed to a facility for an extended period of time. After the tragedy at the Florida high school, they will certainly be keeping him on lock down for a couple months at least. Better safe than sorry

NFL Announces 2018 Compensatory Picks
JerseyBills replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're undervaluing your left nut quite a bit my friend lol. But in all seriousness what is the difference? A bust is a bust regardless of the team that drafted them. How are their draft busts more valuable than ours? -
NFL Announces 2018 Compensatory Picks
JerseyBills replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Our starting RG for 17/17 games? I'm not saying Vlad is a world beater by any means but he was reliable and available every week, clearly beat out Miller . He's easily the most underrated player on this board. Just don't understand how ppl keep saying we should have cut our starting RG in the midst of a playoff push.. Makes absolutely ZERO sense. Their drafting has truly been garbage for quite a few years now. -
No , stats definitely don't equal a players skill, but they definitely give an indication of their skillset, especially moreso in the NFL compared to NBA. I would also take Sammy over KB straight up, but if KB can be a bonafide number 1 WR and put up similar numbers, I'm taking him all day because of the difference in their cap hits. And if he doesn't fully recover and his knees are a concern,we simply cut ties next year and let him test the market. Even without KB, I would not pay Watkins nowhere near 16/mil yearly. Feel he's very talented but very overrated. What would you pay Sammy?
-
I completely disagree Beane knew we wouldn't re sign Watkins , so instead of nothing we have a crack at a top 50 prospect. Great trade imo.
-
73 catches 1008 yards 9 TD as a rookie #1 WR followed by 63 catches 941 yards 7 TD at 15 ypc suggests you are seriously undervaluing his skillset . Yes Watkins has more skills as I've already said but like you said, the mental states differ . My whole point was KB can out produce or match Watkins production in any given year, you took my statement a little out of context I guess
-
I would too. But factor in cost and I'm taking KB next year all day. Again it comes down to production, which was identical 3/4 years , because of injuries KB was very limited in year 4. Ill take the extra 6-7 mil n take KB all day
-
Well that'd certainly be a good reason. Haven't heard any reports though that Bills are concerned with this. Many players have came back to form after multiple knee injuries, Mcl

I actually love this. No upgrade, no reason to move on. If we get 2015,2016 Taylor, with our D , we have serious potential. We were a top 10 O two years in a row with Tyrod. Zone read in the red zone was $$$$$$$. If Dabol puts him in the right scheme, with our D and the kick game, it's 10 + wins. Dennison was brutal.
-
Why is that? Watkins obviously has the speed and hands advantage. KB has the freakish size. Their numbers for year 1-3 are nearly identical. I don't see any reason KB can't out produce Sammy in next few years. Vice versa as well. I just think their overall impact on the field is closer than ppl think
-
I meant KB has had better seasons than Sammy. For some reason I thought he had a monster year 2, so I was wrong there. BUT. Looking at the numbers they've had almost identical first 3 years though, didn't realize it was so close. Point was KB definitely has the ability to be a better WR than Sammy. Excited to watch him healthy next year.
-
I agree. KB has put together a better year and was clearly injured. He has the potential to be better for sure
-
In hindsight, that was a phenomenal trade. Regardless if Gaines re signs. Very bold move for a rookie GM too and I love that he pulled the trigger. Now he has chances at FOUR top 55 prospects, and continue to lay the foundation. I love the direction the Franchise is headed. We're in good hands. Might be the first off season I've ever said those words.
-
Yea two of the highest paid positions and we now have rookie contracts on 2 studs , that's a winning formula. I agree. I just don't understand ppl talking about cutting Vlad during the season. Whether we agreed or not , he was our starting RG for Christ sake , during a playoff push. Ryan Davis also had a bigger impact as the year went on, Shaq injured . I'm fine with the moves or lack thereof we made
