  1. I love the approach. Build on the already elite secondary and make it the best in the league. Colvin imo is very very underrated and a very good cb. I believe he can play inside. Butler would be awesome . Gaines availability issues concern me for a long term deal.
  2. Imo Hughes is worth it, he's one of the most underrated Bills and is a McD type player. Passionate, plays extremely hard every snap , leader and is a very good pass rusher, sneaky quick. His numbers don't tell the whole story. He got a ton of pressure but because the DT and other DE were ineffective, the offense could key in on stopping Hughes. He needs to stay, creates a massive hole if he is dealt.
  3. He sure is but Dawkins is a helluva player as well and almost certainly will improve in year 2, and he's already a stud! Any time you have a stud LT on a rookie deal, that really helps the whole roster because veterans at LT cost an arm and a leg. Fantastic move, more ammo in draft and FA! This front office continues to impress!
  4. If you build the right scheme,he can be a nightmare to play. Coming up with that scheme will be a challenge with his passing limitations but it's a possibility and Hue is an offensive guru
  5. I said this already but with 5 cracks at the top 65 prospects, plus our 3rd, I am praying we have a plan in FA for a QB. This draft could cement us with a quality, playoff roster for years to come. I hope we don't trade up and use our draft capital to build a Monster.
  6. Please get a vet! Five draft picks in the top sixty five plus our 3rd....Have an opportunity to Build a consistent playoff team for years!!!!!!! Making moves !!!!!
  7. I see alot of Landry hate on here. I can't stand his personality, I'm still bitter over the Aaron Williams hit and still want revenge for that. But the kid can flat out play. He's a tremendous WR imo. If he wasn't such a head case I'd love him as a Bill.
  8. That's exactly what went through my mind when I saw the specifics of this trade , I was thinking that this is exactly the type of move the Bills would make in past years , losing season after losing season. Making a risky big money move with question marks at numerous positions. Now we are building a TEAM, not a collection of talent, I love the vision, I trust the f.o and head coach, McD has walked the walk, they have a clear vision on how to win and sustain success and they are following that format.
  9. My feeling exactly. For that price tag I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole . As I already said, makes me appreciate this front office that much more. Now if his cap hit was 6-7 mil, that's a different story but over 11 mil is quite a hit for a guy with availability concerns, huge red flag, big risk , big reward for Mia.
  10. Yea NFL.com is reporting Quinn was available in Peters trade , I'm sure the 34 had something to do with it. KC declined and took the picks. I thought it was the other way around too.
  11. I wouldn't call Quinn past his prime. Playing next to the arguably best defensive player, Aaron Donald certainly helps. Anyway , that's an awfully lot of money for him. Also NFL.com is reporting that Quinn was offered in the Peters trade and KC declined, just some food for thought. Don'tget me wrong, I'd love Quinn opposite Hughes but that price tag hurts the rest of the roster, and when you add in Tannys contract plus the DL, that's almost 50% of their cap, not exactly a sustainable winning formula imo. Makes me that much more grateful to have this current staff, love the way they are building this team.
  12. I have the same feeling. I feel Dabol sold the staff and F.O on the fact he can build a successful scheme around Taylor , which I think he can strive in the right scheme, he has a unique skillset , but the right scheme can do wonders for him. The upgraded scheme plus what should be an upgraded roster, I feel we can be extremely successful, 10+ wins, while grooming the rookie and Peterman
  13. I can't imagine any team taking on his salary. I remember the day I heard about his current deal and was shocked at what the Rams coughed up. He'll most likely have to be released, to me he's a luxury item. I'd take him on my team but not for any major money.
  14. I actually think McD might be interested. I know his character concerns immediately come to mind as not being a McD guy, but his playing style and true love for the game, I feel fit what McD is looking for to a T. Wouldn't be shocked if it happened.
  15. Such quality content and insight. You have a career in journalism my friend ???
  16. I tell ya, Zach Brown has gotta be one of the 10 most underrated guys in this league. Did good in Tennessee. Very good in a 34 on a dysfunctional defense in Buffalo and outstanding last year for the Skins. He'd pop off the screen alot. He's way ahead of Preston Brown for example, yet it seems like he is severely undervalued in FA. I'd like him back. Just cause we didn't re sign him doesn't mean there wasn't interest
  17. Looks Tyrod Taylor is warming up on the sidelines. Bills look like they'll be calling on the veteran as Jackson is being escorted to the locker room.
  18. I heavily disagree. While he's a leader, good locker room guy and motivated, his skills really don't match the modern NFL. Very good versus the run, He's too easy to exploit in the pass game, teams pass more than they run so. I'd like to keep him for cheap but other than that, good riddance. That article severely overrated him.
  19. Shady is just to valuable , he still plays at an all world level. Has rare agility and vision and is as dangerous a RB can be in the pass game. He's the heart of the offense , extremely high football I.q. no chance Shady goes anywhere.
  20. Exactly! Lol Oh yeah he was elite as a Colt n Dolphin. The examples the article showed, it looked like he was playing fast and confident and has always been regarded as a film guy with high football i.q which is perfect for this secondary. Also he's a ball hawk. I'm loving this move.
  21. Yea imo we won the trade hands down. This regime had no interest in keeping Sammy. LA likely doesn't tag him and Might make an offer to him but that 2nd was huge
  22. Wow. He looks phenomenal. Quick , heady and I imagine will be a perfect fit in this scheme. That article just got me even more excited about his potential to excel with this secondary.
  23. Gaines deserves credit. He had a very good year , playing with 3 other guys that Never played with each other. But Davis , if healthy has a very good shot of being an upgrade. Think about this - all 4 of our starting secondary are super ball Hawks as well. His ball hawk skills are not being talked about enough, on a secondary with 3 other Hawks, good luck to opposing QBs. More food for thought- The secondary balled out with one of the worse pass rushes in the game. Just imagine how much better they'd be with one , sheeshhhhh.. 2nd Rd pick
  24. That's a great point. And he's been an absolute pleasure to watch with a pitiful passing attack. The RB age rule doesn't apply to him. He runs so intelligently. He rarely gets hit hard , his vision is impeccable and allows him to avoid hits 99% of RB are taking. HE DOESN'T GET ENOUGH CREDIT FOR THIS; He hasn't lost even half a step imo
