Can't judge anything period imo. Our stud, one of the best playmakers in the league didn't play. Our potential stud LT didn't play. No Kyle/Murphy. A very vanilla defense. I do agree with OL concerns but again , they could and should look completely different in Bmore. The staff is fully aware of the situation and will game plan accordingly. I still don't think we can be any worse than last year

He looked a step late to me. The TD was a phenomenal throw but I didn't see White in position . Same with the big gain he gave up to start 2nd half, just a step late. But it's pre season and part of me is happy the first stringers got whooped, they have 2 weeks to correct the errors

White and Poyer were trash too, pass defense was plain awful . But the D looked very vanilla and Davis got burned by the fastest guy in the league, I wouldn't anticipate a repeat performance in regular season.

It did look good. Not sure how Star played though

Clay is our best TE and one of the better ones in NFL but yes that contract is ridiculous

Yes . Good point about the fantasy rankings, I also have seen many outlets placing him in the same bracket as a Kenyon Drake . Most have brought up his age as a mitigating factor . That really pisses me off, these "experts" don't have enough football i.q to look deeper and look at the fact that Shady doesn't get punished nearly as much as any other RB in the game. It's just lazy reporting imo and truly disrespectful to one of the best RB in the game. The fact he was 4th in scrimmage yards is unbelievable , with our pass game. Gurley and Bell each had elite pass games , Hunt and KC was above average with 2 1000 yarders in Kelce and Hill (I believe) , meanwhile Shady was part of the 2nd worse pass game in the league and still performed at that level. Amazing. Looked amazing in his 17th game vs Jax , I'm going to get a steal as I'm very comfortable making him my RB1, even with the question marks at OL ,QB and WR, I still think we're better with Allen/AJ/Peterman+ Dabol , they can't be any worse than Tyrod/Dennison

I think he has 5 quality years personally. 3 elite years and 2 where he's a 2nd or 3rd , change of pace back,but still effective . Like I said in op , he's a Rare athlete , his rare running style will allow him to be productive til 35 I feel and he takes care of his conditioning and body as good as any athlete . Guys like Shady , never missing more than 4 games in a year at RB, while producing at the highest level, don't come around too often and it is just incredible . We might have his replacement on the roster. Murphy was super impressive to me last year and looks like he might have taken his game up a level. He's learning from the best. But like we saw with Karlos and PatriotGillisslee , being consistent at RB ,year in n out , is not easy and is not common in this league. Guys like Zeke and Gurley are phenomenal talents but they take a beating with their run style. I'd like to see a couple series with Shady and Allen , but it's definitely not a big deal, Shady is as professional as they come. I just can't stop thinking about how amazing he can be with defenses having to respect Allens deep play ability and not put 8-9 in box , Shady will absolutely dominate out there

Just a little change of pace , but anyone play the new Madden by chance? Shady is given a ton of respect on the field and in the commentary. He's one of the best weapons in the game, HB/WR/TE , they really nailed his ability in 19 , making him elite in the run and pass game and a nightmare for the opposition , EA went out of their way to give Shady the credit he deserves in terms of his elite and rare playmaking abilities in this version. He is probably the most popular RB I've seen (I play online head to head) in Madden Ultimate Team , commonly referred to as MUT, because of his versatility and playmaking ability. Quotes like these from commentators - "I feel we take Shady McCoy for granted. He has played in 12 or more games since his 09 rookie year." " Even though he just turned 30 , with his running style and ability to avoid contact, I feel he has 3 more great years in him. " They obviously show love to alot of players but again, they went above and beyond the way they talk about Shady compared to other players. It got me thinking. Do we take Shady for granted? Is he so good that we're just used to it? Even in his 2 -3 runs vs Cle , he pops off the screen . He's just procceses the game quicker and makes quicker decisions than probably everybody else on the field and has had a phenomenal 3 years in Buffalo, with Tyrod Taylor and a passing game that didn't throw for 300+ yards in those 3 years! Imagine how much better he'd be with a pass game? Man he gets so overlooked imo on a national level and even local . I think ppl definitely don't give him the credit he's due and feel he's easily a top 3 back right now. The availability as well is just unheard of for a RB with his workload, but as already mentioned, his running style is so rare, he's able to avoid big hits and plays super smart. Rare talent , if Allen works out , with that arm ? Shady is going to have a Monster year , 2k from scrimmage type of year.

Even against us I felt this way, glad others picked up on that , and in all seriousness , Josh Allen and Marcus Murphy had their way with some 1st n 2nd teamers . I do think they have a legit front 7 , I just don't see it in on the back end and that's eventually going to hurt them on defense . Their #4 pick , Ward, injury didn't look good , they really messed that Chubb pick up because Garrett looks absolutely phenomenal

Why has Sal not taken over that time slot is a question I've wondered for quite some time personally and still wonder. I'm in the NYC market and usually tuned into Francesa in the car. Say what you want about Francesa , but the guy is a sports junkie that truly provides quality insight (most of the time ). As the internet grew and I got turned onto WGR , I was appalled by Schopp and how such a miserable , intimidating (even his Co host bites his tounge in his presence) guy could have such an important time slot in a small but extremely passionate sports market. Then I heard Sal and on one of my first listens , said to myself, this guy blows Schopp out of the water in so many aspects on the radio. Call him a homer , but he's a Buffalo sports junkie and will speak on any topic if a caller has a solid point, even if it goes against his personal belief, in an intelligent and entertaining manner.

Allen has the best play on that show ?

Which kinda goes back to the OPs point. It's not about his numbers per session, it's how he has looked doing it. The throws he has made , the poise and awareness in the pocket and the clear progression in his game , as far as footwork , shows he is very coachable and able to apply it to live game action. This EJ comparison is ridiculous. And like I said, this is why analytics aren't a major factor in building a great team.

Need some work on ur delivery and it could be sarcasm but He might be right guys... It's not that big of a stretch to say Allen will be a legit franchise QB , even elite. If Allen is the real deal ,with this coaching staff , we're SB contenders for 10+ years..

One of my favorite games of the year , 3 straight losses , team stays poised , goes into one of the toughest stadiums to play and defensively dominate a desperate KC team and finish the year 4-2.

Mack is superior obviously but Hughes isn't some rotational DE , he has value , he's a force in pass/run . Would love to have Mack n Hughes
