  1. And we had the #1 rush offense. If we had a #1 D we would have been in the playoffs I haven't seen any evidence Lamar is better in the pass game than Taylor. Both extremely limited
  2. Cousins turns to below average when going against good defenses. We saw it against us , I think they didn't cross the 50 til the mid 3rd qtr. He will put up big numbers versus the below average defenses . Super overrated
  3. I agree. He had two H.O.F QB back to back , so I think he got severely overrated because he was always in the playoffs but I think this job will prove he's super overrated . Surprised they didn't take more time to consider Greg , who did a fantastic job with Kitchens and could stunt Bakers growth , implementing a brand new system , when he was excelling in the current one
  4. I'd still take a flier on him on a one year prove it deal if available. Him n Shady as a 1A and 1B could be interesting. If he doesn't buy in cut him Immediately.
  5. Man if Beane cleans up in FA and has another superb draft , we're instantly legit contenders in the AFC . I'm also anticipating Allen makes a jump in his play , which is common in year 2 . This team is going places , I can see it, can feel it.. I think we can be hosting a playoff game next year and once you're in, anything is possible. Not familiar enough with Clevelands cap situation , FAs , etc. They had a very good draft themselves with Dorsey but won't have the luxury of an abundance of picks and picking first in every round. Very possible , that'd be awesome, both fan bases deserve it. Both teams are on the rise for sure
  6. He's listed as 6'3. I remember his combine , he's about 6'2 1/2. Agree on Allen too. He's put the O on his back since coming back. He has that "it" factor I just don't see in Darnold. I think Darnold can be a good QB , I just think Allen could be a special one. That arm talent with the running ability at 6'5 240 is unheard of. And you know he's going to work his butt off to clean up his game. I'm expecting a big jjump next year, that's a scary thought for our opponents. Glad 17 is a Bill baby!!
  7. I've said this alot recently. People point to the record but Tyrod would have had a great record when Roman was OC , IF we had the #1 D . You take away an OC that is a masterful run game coordinator and if that D dips to average and you got a Tyrod Taylor basically, who is currently a backup. Lamar is just sooooo limited in the pass game, I just don't see him progressing to a level that is sustainable for success. Even with this great run game , he only eclipsed 200 yards once, sound familiar Bills fans? He's been purely a product of a great , unorthodox run scheme and a great defense. I'd personally have him 4th, barely ahead of Rosen. If anyone wants to chime in as to why they are so high on him , I'd love to hear the reasons , not being sarcastic or condescending. I truly don't understand the hype Jackson is almost 6'3. Taylor is 6'1. Both are phenomenal athletes. Both also are below average at best in the pass game
  8. I don't understand the Jackson hype. Tyrod 2.0. Extremely limited in pass game
  9. I just can't help but see Tyrod 2.0... If we had the #1 D , we would have went to the playoffs with Roman , when we had the #1 Rush O. We would have been praising Taylor up n down but u take away Roman or the #1 D and he's a backup QB. Not saying Lamar can't progress, it's just what I see watching him. The kid is super athletic , the scheme is phenomenal and the D is great . He's extremely limited in the pass game though, and that's not going to get you far in the playoffs imo.
  10. I like that we get Denver , Baltimore , and Philly at home.
  11. Our run D still needs some work but our pass D is phenomenal. Look , it's a passing league, you're going to give up some catches but we held like 8 of the last 10 QB to under 200 yards, which is ridiculous. Hyde and Poyer are so underrated , they're playing S and this scheme at an extremely high level
  12. Most important off season in 2 decades. A good off-season and we're definitely contenders. A great one and we could be one of the elites in the AFC . Either way,the future is so bright. I can't stop talking about how much I love the vision and blueprint McBeane implemented
  13. I'm numb to the Pats winning at this point. As far as Sammy , I guess i wouldn't mind , though I don't see KC making it and idk the last time Watkins Even played , what a terrible contract that was. Almost as bad as giving up two 1st rounders... Dude is just so injury prone, I used to watch him and hold my breath after every catch, he always looked gimpy to me.
  14. Idk man. He's still the biggest and close to fastest besides the DL . Teams just can't contain him on the ground . The only hit I didn't like on a day he ran for 90 something and 2 TD was illegal. I think we have to utilize his legs , no other QB can run like that and throw to anywhere on the field.
  15. 5 total TD and he responded to throwing a brutal pick 6 to end the half and marched the O down the field at will. Great sign , he has work to do for sure but his potential is through the roof and fits this team and community like a glove. Expect a big jump in year 2
  16. It could stunt his growth. Completely new system . Not a good situation for a 2nd year QB
  17. Before I say that , I had a thought in the second half when Miami was down a few players and their backups clearly dIdnt belong on the field.on the flip side our defense is banged up just as bad in the secondary , and didn't miss a beat. To me , it just shows , despite the record, our organization is going in a totally different direction than a Mia and even Jets. I've said all year , McBeane and Co had a clear vision coming in for " long term , sustainable success" was Beanes direct quote I believe and I'm all in. I love the direction of the team . They are going to be a problem in the AFC starting next year , i love that these guys are in Buffalo, love the vision and blueprint they have intact. Onto Gase , with rumors swirling about his tenure possibly ending , this was a huge game for him and the Fins. They reported that they had their best Friday practice of the year and were ready. By the second half which was surprisingly tied , this Bills team showed more heart , effort and embarrassed the Fins and imo sealed their HCs fate and potentially Tannehil as well . We arguably did the same thing to Bowels when we embarrassed the Jets . We've took some lumps this year but it was never for a lack of heart and effort , just talent, which is excusable .
  18. Phil is too apparently . Just called him possibly the second coming of Jim Kelly. Him or Cowher called McD one of the best coaches in the NFL. Agree on both. Guy gets so much out of so little. Just wait til he has more elite talent n these young guns progress
  19. He wanted to give Kyle that send off. Classy move
  20. Yeah .same McD all class . I don't understand the hate around here
  21. I agree . Multiple pro bowls. Multiple top 100 appearances. It's just Kyle was never considered an elite, top 5 type DT. He had to work his butt off to be a very good/great DT. If he doesn't put in that type of work , he's probably average at best. Meanwhile a guy like Dareus is probably the complete opposite. Top 3 pick , naturally blessed with all the physical tools to be an elite DT but never handled business off the field , never worked like Kyle and now he's not even talked about when you bring up interior defenders and likely will never come close to having the type of career the smaller Kyle had , because of the man he was off the field
  22. Yes I'd be downright shocked and upset. They gutted this roster , added young talent spread throughout this team and this off season get to put the cherry on top and add the higher level talent needed to be legit contenders. It was the plan all along . No chance in !!!! that McBeane goes anywhere
  23. You obviously missed the point. He's not the greatest DT. He's not the fastest , strongest or talented. It's the impact he made off the field. It's the leadership , the work habits that will hopefully live on through his teammates. Look no further than the impressions he made on his coaches and teammates. He will be missed probably off the field more than anything
  24. Glad he was a Bill. What he brought to this team will live on through his teammates he impacted. Guys are going to use those habits and make themselves and the team better. Class act by McDermott . This team is going places and Kyle was a huge part to instill some much needed leadership in the beginning of what I expect to be a beautiful run by this organization. 95, was pleasure watching you Didn't expect this. Respect to Marrone .
