  1. Interesting.. as someone stated , instantly reminded me of Dirk in TB as well. I think this goes very good or very bad,
  2. Not sure if posted but Shady commenting on Quinton Nelson of Indy ,who is a BEAST , saying " I want one of those" . Can't blame him.
  3. Agree 100%. He showed the glimpses that make him rare. He's still a very very nice chess piece to have on O
  4. Agreed. Shady is a beast in the pass game though. Like to see him in a 1a 1b situation at RB for next couple of years. But I'm of the opinion he hasn't lost nearly as much juice as his numbers suggest
  5. Hey I like it. Beane found Foster and McKenzie , Foster looks like he can have a huge impact in this league. McKenzie is super dangerous with the ball, is more of a Swiss army knife. Can return punts too. Starting to regain my trust in Beane and his scouts ability to find WR that will make an impact, after he bombed on the KB trade.
  6. Haven't read through pages. Are people finally opening their eyes and seeing that Lamar is just not an NFL caliber passer? I've been saying for the last month he's basically Tyrod 2.0. Lamar the better runner, Tyrod better passer. Lamar is terrible at reading coverage and usually gives up after his first read. He's just awful as a passer overall It boggled my mind to see national journalists rank Jackson above Allen. Based mainly on his record which was all due to a great D and great scheme for the run game. Again, It just boggled my mind so many local Bill fans and national "experts were so high on the kid. I had him 5th out of the 1st rounders, behind Rosen. You run into a great defense and they eliminate the run game, make him beat you with his arm , the Ravens winning percentage goes down very Low...By far the most overrated rookie out of any position, imo.
  7. Yeah you're 100% right. Just cause a QB is making that type of money it doesn't mean the team will suck. It does mean however , that they don't have as much flexibility in the draft and FA . Have to be smarter and more efficient with their spending. N.O has had a couple really good drafts and that's a huge reason why they have a bye this weekend
  8. We're a few pieces from realistically being legit contenders. I feel McD and Beane both had the same vision and blueprint on how to build a long term , sustainable , winning team. They took their time , took on the dead money , lowest active roster this year, basicallysacrificed the last two years to be in this current position. 90 mil in cap , while losing no major FA, besides a 35 year old Kyle and Lorax, who we can re sign for a very reasonable contract. McDermott is a natural HC and gets so much out of his players imo. Think he'll be here a long time. I think 2019 could be the start of something special for the Bills .
  9. Bill Obrien and Watson are criminally overrated. Bill got outcoached big time today , Colts made it look easy , on the road . Very impressive and dangerous team. Legit SB contenders. Some Homer Thoughts - If I'm a GM , I'm taking Allen over Watson. That'd get Ugly for NE!
  10. Yeah Jerry Hughes was a beast , he was my first thought with Tre,Poyer ,Milano Hyde as close seconds. Hyde especially didn't have eye popping stats but the way he's able to disguise his coverages is a huge reason we were the best pass D by a significant margin. Him and Poyer are as good as it gets in the back end
  11. I looked at this list , Cousins was the first QB I'd take Josh over right now and that trend continued til he pops up at 32. If I'm wrong about him having superstar potential , and it being very achievable , like next season , I've never been so wrong about a player in my life. Post injury he was significantly better though.
  12. Great year for Gilmore Really no way to downplay it . He has always had the physical tools to be a great CB and it looks like everything fell into place this year. With that said, I'm still very happy he is not a Bill , mainly for the contract size. Very pleased with Tre,Levi and Taron going forward ,all on rookie deals.
  13. Kid is showing clear progress and couldn't have ended the season on a better note , playing arguably his best game as a pro.
  14. It was only in July of 2017 that we thought we'd have one of the worse secondaries in the league. Amazing work by this staff #TrustTheProcess
  15. And Taron . That secondary is young and can grow to be super elite. Hyde/Poyer are as good a S tandem as you can get. That's how u rebuild baby
  16. Yes!! I love the energy he brings. , He was a steal and very reliable in the rotation
  17. Yeah we were brutal the last few years with Tyrod on 3rd and a yard or less. So refreshing to have this kid basically be automatic. I'd expect them to develop some deep shots on 3rd down and if we fail just run the sneak on 4th ,
  18. Exactly. Which is why I never understood the McBeane hate. They essentially sacrificed this year for the long term success of the team.
  19. Trust the process!!!
  20. One thing I noticed since Allen has come back from injury is Buffalo being way more aggressive on 4th and 1 or less and seems everytime they just run the sneak with Allen. I can't find the exact numbers but there has been a few occasions and he has yet to be stopped. This is a very important and underrated part of his game. Just look at how much we struggled at 3rd and/or 4th and 1 last year and before the injury. Very inconsistent. Yesterday he did it again , on what was almost closer to 2 yards and easily got the first. Can Josh Allen be stopped in this situation? He looks like a cheat code in these situations , it's pretty incredible , he's automatic at such a crucial down and distance , I love it!!
  21. He has shown it all year , he doesn't have the miles on him that a regular 35 year old would. He only started playing regularly in 2015 . Get him signed Immediately .
  22. I'm basically a McD Homer at this point , and I'm surprised by the amount of people that were/are actually calling for his head. I've been saying he's a natural head coach , and right where he needs to be , he belongs coaching at the highest level. I'm thrilled he's in Buffalo. I envision him being here a long time. I agree he has overachieved , but most of all I love what he has instilled into this team. He has built an identity and culture and has stuck to his vision and blueprint the whole time. A perfect example was week 17 , you see Miami banged up in the secondary and those young guys came in that looked unprepared and like they didn't belong. McD has had to do alot of shuffling in the secondary , and has Undrafted rookies playing at a high level. Not missing a beat. You can see the difference right there in McD and a coach like Gase. Something special is brewing in Western New York. McBeane said from day 1 , that they want to build a team that has Long Term, Sustainable success and they have certainly set themselves up to make that achievable. We have a ton of young talent that will only get better , just look at the back 7 , I think Wallace is basically a lock to hold that #2 cb role , him,Taron,Tre, Edmunds and Milano will all be 2nd or 3rd year players and just came off a year where they were the #1 pass D by a significant margin , they're going to be deadly with more time to gel.
  23. The Madden Curse is Evolving! Tomlin needed to tighten his ship a long time ago. . Little insight into how they imploded down the stretch too. You see how this behavior can effect the whole team, which is why I love how this team is being built.
  24. Posted this in retirement thread but probably got lost. I was looking up the Stevie Johnson God Drop game vs Pitt where Kyle played arguably his best game ever , old but a great, must read . https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/kyle-williams-beast Congrats to an amazing player and even better person .
  25. Wow . U were actually serious? No offense but your football i.q is extremely low if you believe that. Who remembers when he almost single handedly won us the Steelers game in 2010 , It was the Stevie Johnson drop game where he blamed God... Just look at what PFF says about Williams, arguably the best DT that year , and here's the excerpt from the Steelers game, going against an all pro C .. The Pittsburgh Game If you asked me what the best performance at any position in the 2010 season was, then I’d be looking at Week 12 when the Bills hosted the Steelers. While much of the postgame focus was on Steve Johnson and his five drops (including one that would have won the game), I watched in amazement at what Kyle Williams did in his 74 defensive snaps. It wasn’t perfect, but it was pretty close. 29.73% of his snaps were graded positively, a ridiculously high margin as Williams dominated the Steelers interior for five quarters, with both Maurkice Pouncey and Chris Kemoeatu absorbing the brunt of his ability. Take what Williams did with 5:25 left in the first half: bursting through the A-gap with such explosiveness that neither Pouncey or Kemoeatu can do anything but watch as he engulfs Ben Roethlisberger. Or, with 16 seconds left in the first quarter, shooting off the line so quickly that Pouncey couldn’t pick him up, Williams met Rashad Mendenhall five yards in the backfield as he received the ball. There are many more highlights, but I’m sure you get the point. It was certainly a game worth re-watching.
