  1. Something else I love - Lamar Jackson vs Sean McDermott, at home in December with Buffalo having a winning record.. I think our defense and croed overwhelm him. Same with Jets Week 17. If we're 9-6 or something , New Era is going to be nuts! Brutal environment for Darnold . Way to early prediction - 10-6
  2. Bills Mafia gotta take over North Jersey and MetLife the first 2 weeks. We could easily go 2-0 on a 2 gm road trip, come home to play Cincy and we're quietly 3-0 baby . With NE coming to town and New Era going absolutely Bezerk!!! Let's Go!!!!!
  3. Personal source Primetime games - Bills - Eagles Primetime Bills - Jets/Browns ??
  4. He's a really good receiver
  5. The more I've read and seen with Hock , the more I want him and think he can be a cornerstone for this O. Look at Beasley/Witten . Beasley alone causes so much attention in the middle of the field, allowing a great TE to EAT. And he can block ? This O could really be lethal. I do think McD is lobbying for one of these elite DL prospects, potentially making the D very elite. Either way it's a positive for this team. I think they go BPA , which I'm all for. If they love one of these DL, could see a trade up , otherwise go BPA and Hock could definitely be that
  6. I see Shady having a big bounce back year and a much bigger role in the pass game, where he can be an absolute nightmare to defenses. Watching Gores film from last year, you'd think he was 7 years younger , he was fantastic really and as reliable as they come. I forget if it was Gase or the Phins OC but when talking about Gore said " if Frank says he'll get that 5 yards for the 1st down , he's getting that 1st down . He's the most reliable back I've had the pleasure of coaching." I think Gore will be a surprisingly productive back and can step in and be the #1 if needed. These OL brought in are maulers . The run game as a whole should be significantly improved. This offense has some firepower at WR too. Foster/Beasly/Brown/Zay is a nice , dangerous , deep group of WR .
  7. I see him having a much lesser role , I'd say #4 WR behind Foster/Brown/Beasly. Gives Dabol a ton of flexibility , he does like going 5 wide alot . It's all about matchups , I think Zay needs to be matched with a teams 3rd/4th CB and he will excel. I don't see any benefit to cutting him and he's only going into year 3 , it wouldn't be shocking to see him make a leap and that'd be a great problem to have as far as playing time.
  8. They accomplished those SB and NFCC with the best defense and one of the best run games in the league. I didn't say he can't get them to the playoffs, he's very capable. I just don't think they'll sniff a SB or Nfccg in the NFC. Especially with the Rams as the top dogs of the NFC West , 9ers on the up and up , it's only going to get tougher for the Hawks. The Rodgers hate is just that , hating. Say what you want about him off the field , he's been the best QB in the league for a few years now, imo.
  9. He's def an elite QB but I don't see them sniffing a SB or Championship game with that money tied to one player. He's no Rodgers/Brees/Brady who can carry a team that far. Great Post
  10. Respectfully disagree. He showed flashes and was in a terrible offensive situation. Tyrod, Peterman, a rookie Allen with no chemistry. He was also likely considered our best WR by opposing defenses and just struggled being the guy on offense. I expect much improved play , he showed enough glimpses for me and will be considered 3rd or 4th WR, where I can see him really excelling. The talent is definitely there, it's just finding consistentcy. I don't believe Bills Brass has lost any faith in him. He was just in the wrong role. But if Duke or whoever outplay him, then so be it.
  11. Levi is going to be a helluva player. Can't believe we got him and Foster Undrafted Shady def still has it , expecting a huge bounce back year with an improved ol and sustainable QB play. And Gore is going to shock some ppl . Just look at his play last year on a Miami team with no threat of a pass game.
  12. I don't think Bills brass would even entertain them being on Hard Knocks and I love it
  13. As a non Packer fan , obviously , I will say when there is smoke, there's fire. I'm sure there's some truth to these reports and parts that have gotten blown up by the media. Still the most talented QB in the game and maybe the price of being the best and what he demands from teammates has rubbed some the wrong way, but I just don't think this is some smear campaign
  14. They were in the 43. Back to back 10 sack seasons Then Rex came along and forced a 34 defense on them and productivity dropped at multiple positions
  15. He really is , and very good vs the run and rarely injured . He hasn't had the sacks but just causes havoc in the backfield on a regular basis , with his sneaky cat like quickness . Off the top of my head I recall 3 separate plays where his pressure caused an INT. I gotta feeling they trade up for a DL , give Hughes another great pass rusher and those prrssures turn into more sacks, FF ,TFL and int.
  16. The most underrated DE/edge rusher in the game So Hughes was 2nd in pressures in the whole league and first on the right side , where he's battling the LT , usually the teams best OL. He absolutely dominated the competition on that side though. 13 more than Garrett and 16 more than Clowney , both former #1 overall picks. For more context , Hughes was apart of a rotation and didn't have anyone else on the line that was elite at rushing the passer last year. Well maybe Lorax but he's only rushing the QB on a part time basis. When you look at these names , they are all considered elite and commonly mentioned on a national level for their pass rushing ability. If you were to mention Hughes in the same conversation as these guys , most ppl would look at you like you have 2 heads . He is criminally underrated and last year was arguably his best season to date! Jerry Hughes is a top 5 DE! I think the Bills attempt to trade up for the top edge rusher or DT on their board to get Hughes some help while he's still in his prime. I also believe he is re signed for a 3 year deal after this season. Such an Elite talent that consistently causes havoc in the backfield , I'd be so happy to see another elite DE opposite Hughes.
  17. Just No! McDermott spent his whole career basically , creating and expanding upon this 4-3 Defense. He'd never make that switch, let alone based on a single player.
  18. Thanks. Yup he has a LEG and showed glimpses before injury. I'm sure he can only get better! This ST unit should bounce back nicely with the FA additions and a 2nd yr punter. All 3 phases baby. Beane is doing his thing , improving so many aspects of this team. Punting is a huge part of a close game.
  19. I've been saying this to anyone on here who'll listen since last year. I think we struck gold with McD and Beane. Beane could be in the conversation depending how we finish , and expectations are high for me.. I feel they Share a specific blueprint and vision for long term success and he has really set this franchise on the right athletes and made it sustainable! I just love the culture being built , it really feels like something special is brewing. They target very specific personality traits as well. Feel Beane and McD have a firm grasp on the team , and get the best out of them on the field.
  20. 9-11 wins.. And the potential to make a legit run in the playoffs
  21. I personally disagree , if we can get 2017 Dawkins back , why can't he be the LT of the future? Only entering year 3. His situation last year was brutal , playing next to below average LG and C . With Spain and Morse he can certainly return to his rookie form , if not improve. I'd like to see the Bills wait til next years draft to make that determination
