Bills v.s. Jets at the meadowlands?
JerseyBills replied to Bills365's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm born and raised in North Jersey . Been going to the Meadowlands with my buddies since I'm 18 , 10 years . I guess cause we roll pretty deep and I'm literally the only Bills fan in the group , I've never had issues but have seen other fans get into it. The tailgating is nowhere near Orchard Park. Hey fans seem to cause alot of issues in the stands, I've actually approached two groups , with my buddy Jet fans and told them they're with us and they laid off. I'll be there week 1 & 2 if anyone has questions, want to meet up or have any Bills tailgating sessions please hmu! -
Yea. That's what an elite front office has brought here. This is a DEEP team up and down , especially OL . And i love how these positional groups have a nice mix of vets and young guys. We're legit contenders imo. I doubt Beane and Co have any interest in Trent

Lorax: Healthy Trent Murphy is a game-changer
JerseyBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The last time we saw a fully healthy Murphy (2016 I believe) he was definitely a game changer. We shall see though. The talent is definitely there and with a pretty deep and talented line , should see plenty of 1 on 1 situations -
NFL Network Top 100 Players - total snub?
JerseyBills replied to Charles Romes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No Poyer either. Sad. The list in general isn't nearly as popular as it was though and it's cause a joke . Clowney was in the top 70 I believe.smh -
True but their core players were together for 3-4 years before they got really good and developed that chemistry. I think there's way more examples of teams with big egos and troubled players crashing and burning than succeeding. Great coaching and leadership is crucial for them , going to be a tough job for a Rookie HC. They look good on paper but very top heavy imo , not much depth either.

Same here man! Very well said. Beane and McD SHARE the same vision for success. They followed a very specific blueprint while building this roster after gutting it 3 years ago. They've carefully chosen FA and draft picks , placing a huge emphasis on character and leadership and not just talent alone. They also are damn good at what they do , I said it from day 1 and many times after , we struck gold landing both these guys. This roster is deep , talented and very very well coached. McD and Beane have built a team , I feel the Browns are just a collection of talent and like you said , I also feel people will see the difference when we go to Cleveland!

McFaddens Out? PSA for NYC Bills Viewing
JerseyBills replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm from North Jersey, literally 10 min outside NYC. Was at McFaddens once, very fun experience but I love the Bills Backers bars in North Jersey and suggest any NYC residents to cross the bridge and check out Duffys in Paterson,NJ. Amazing game day experience . There's also one in Hoboken , name escapes me but Duffys just has a different vibe and energy on game day. -

BBFS - 8 Wins sounds about right to me

I'm just going by last year and what would be considered blowout losses , I mean it's really no mystery! You're talking like you have no clue why we got blown out and it took me all but 5 minutes to tell you why. Simply put - Extreme dysfunction at the QB position . Nate Peterman ,Derek Anderson , extremely raw Josh Allen and oh yeah, an absolutely terrible OL and oh yeah , absolutely terrible WR . Once we cut ties with Holmes, Benjamin and Kerley , guess what ? No more blow outs! Not one. And that's with a raw rookies behind a joke of an OL throwing to an UDFA rookie , Zay and McKenzie who we got like week 10! The Bears blowout they had 2 defensive TD , playing against Nate Peterman! Again, it's not a mystery as to why the blowouts occurred. Kinda common sense. Unfortunately we were rebuilding and were stuck with awful OL and WR but that all changed this off season. I wouldn't worry to much about blowouts and McDermott anymore. Again- NATE PETERMAN , Derek Anderson and a way to raw rookie Josh Allen prior to his injury. No blowouts when Josh returned. I'd bet there aren't any this year. I'm that confident in this coaching -
The games he didn't list were - NE x 2 , tough but our D played them TOUGH last year. Offense was just brutal. Hoping we can get 1/2 ... We improved, they regressed. @Dal - I really like that matchup personally , Dallas is in the same boat as us basically., Biggest difference? Coaching! Ours is Grade A, theres? Not so much. vsPhi - Again , same thing as Dallas and us imo. A team with alot of potential. Only reason I'm not higher on them is cause it's later in the year and Wentz should be injured by then. No Foles anymore. We're very tough at home, will be a dog fight. @Cle - That team is so overhyped it makes me sick! They had 1 more win than us last year! They have a rookie HC and these ridiculous expectations set by the media. I can see an epic crash n burn. And their OL regression will be critical. Like Beane said multiple times during embedded , it's not about collecting talent, it's about building a team. I see a dog fight , very very winnable. @Pitt - Usually that's a recipe for a long night but does anybody know how good Pit will be ? Prior to last year they won 10+ gms n made the playoffs 4 straight years. They still have a stud OL but that offensive depth chart isn't looking to hot. I think their secondary is average at best with a very good front 7. It's a tough game but extremely winnable. could easily see us at 11-5

Baldy's Breakdown (Tremaine Edmunds)
JerseyBills replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good call..Ya this is a talented coaching staff up and down . I always go back to what Hyde said around week 6 last year, saying that Edmunds is going to get a gold jacket , he never makes the same mistake twice and is the most physically gifted LB he has played with . That's ridiculously high praise for a 20 year old , for him to command the defense from day 1 at such a young age is amazing . We got a steal getting him out of the top 10! -
Allen can throw it over them mountains (and waves )
JerseyBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I mean considering there was multiple people watching in person, including members of the media, there's no chance it's fake. But after a couple views , I feel like Allen would completely clear the stadium!! But that's super impressive by Mahomes , he has a rocket of an arm. I'm just confident Allen has an even bigger rocket of an arm -
CBS Lists Top 10 Coaches, include McDermott
JerseyBills replied to RochesterLifer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow some MUCH deserved national attention to a great HC. I've said since last year, he's a natural. Truly think we struck gold with him -

Thought it was kinda stupid at first , I'm officially on board with these 2 having that throwing competition -
Ya the opiate crisis and war on drugs has been executed and handled about as poorly as you could handle it. Not only to help addicts but screw over legit pain patients that rely on the meds for legit pain. Many times causing them to turn to street drugs . Toradol isn't even an opiate! Gives you zero high..If you were having positive results and not getting an unreasonable amount, it's ridiculous your Dr stopped usage.

Josh Allen vs Lamar Jackson comparison: A Thread
JerseyBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's a great breakdown and basically confirms what I thought . Jackson is a very good system QB and is perfect for a Greg Roman scheme. The Chargers did a wonderful job in the WC game last year exposing Jackson, taking away his rushing ability and in turn the Raven offense was useless. I just don't see him improving much as a passer at this stage. I'd even go as far as saying Tyrod Taylor is a more well rounded QB than Jackson. As far as compared to Allen, it isn't even close. Jackson is just so limited in the pass game -
I'm looking at Zay right now as a valuable depth piece. He can line up anywhere on the field , and I consider him good in many areas but not elite at one particular thing. He really just needs that consistentcy and hopefully he makes another jump this year. Remember last year he had that wild incident with his brother , this off season he looks to be way more focused on his work and bonding with the team. Alot of WR take time to adjust to the NFL . I'm cautiously optimistic Zay ups his game to another level

Ya good call on the Toradol. I'm 2 semesters away from graduating college and ultimately becoming a drug counselor , we once had a case study on drug abuse in the NFL . Mainly focusing on the over prescribing habits of drs in sports. Toradol is used at an alarming rate, especially in the NFL and at the rate prescribed, is known to have adverse effects on your kidneys. Also Real Sports did a remarkable piece on the prescribing habits of NFL team Drs about 5 years ago. They focused alot on Toradol n the risks of that amount. Great piece if you're interested in this stuff. I tried to find a link to it real quick but I'm a little busy with work. It should be an easy find on YouTube Yea I can only imagine . Your life hanging in the balance based on receiving a body part from another human being. Wish the big guy the best and anybody going through this good luck , it can happen to anybody

This was pretty crazy to me , I wasn't aware he was in such bad health. Crazy around 2009 he was coming off a couple elite , outstanding , world class seasons at DT , getting a historic contract , to needing a new kidney just to stay alive. Wish him the best. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/former-titans-dt-albert-haynesworth-hospitalized-in-dire-need-of-a-kidney-013837285.html
