Of course. Diggs impacts the O as a whole We now have a guy on the outside who demands attention, double teams , shifting his direction. It opens up the whole O ! Brown on the other side too, one of the best #2 WR in the game , one of the best slot guys in the game. Defenses can't just blitz heavily anymore or spy Allen on every play! These screens add another layer to the O , giving our opponents DCs grey hair

Absolutely! That's why as great as he was/is, to an extent, he never won a playoff game and only appeared in 1! He doesn't make those around him better because hes a terrible leader and sets a terrible standard. When one of your star players is so selfish, that messes with the culture. We actually gave Josh some gimme throws - screens and 5 yard routes! And they were effective. I wouldn't be surprised if our offense had more YAC yesterday than any game in Allens career. Allen had the lowest check down rate at 6.4% last year and the highest target depth. Looks like Dabol made it a priority to scheme up some easy passes to get Allen and the O rolling. That screen to Smoke Brown was beautiful. Wasn't even touched! Allens average depth of target in week 1 was much lower than last year. If you told me prior to the game he has 44 pass attempts, I'd be nervous as heck and think it was very close W or a loss. But no , credit Dabol for adding the shorter , gimme passes into his playbook. 44 attempts and we got a dominant victory.

Loving 404 total yards on opening day! I said all summer, this is a top 10 offense and they sure showed that potential on Sunday.

Postgame thoughts - We dominated O , D and the Return Game. Andre Roberts quietly had a helluva game. Only thing concerning is the run game but that's a great Run D. But just as far as an overall team effort, we dominated! And when the Jets cut it to 11 on that flukey 70 yard pass , the O marched right down, killed clock and responded with 3 but should have been 7. Could have easily won by 30+ but we'll get that cleaned up. We can pick apart a bunch of things about this game, bottom line is it was week 1 after a surreal off season and we got a dominant, team win! I

Saw a tweet yesterday. Diggs was 2nd behind Tyreek Hill as the most targeted WR 40 yards or beyond since 2018. Expecting a few Allen to Diggs bombs. His tracking ability , awareness and hands are 2nd to none . Legit WR1

The White deal is truly great for him and the team. I'd love to grab an elite CB in FA or elite rookie prospect to pair with him and Hyde/Poyer. If Milano has another big year, I think ya gotta re sign him and let him and Edmunds grow together.

Think they're slightly above average with alot of depth . Alot also depends on how Ford progresses in year 2 buy the Left side , Dawkins/Spain/Morse is pretty good. The right side, between Feliciano,Ty,Ford,Winters, is not bad at all. All 4 are capable starters. Also, last year the line had 4 new starters , so I'm expecting a jump from the unit as a whole.

That tells me they aren't looking good in Camp and the staff knows they're not winning in 2020 so they took what they could get

McDermott knows Cam as good as any coach. Knows all his weaknesses , little details that most ppl may not be aware of. I just can't see that offense doing much of anything vs us.
