Mark my words - Edmunds coming back will be a massive improvement to this D. His absence was felt Teams can't attack the middle of the field like they have been. You can't teach his size , athleticism and natural coverage ability Prior to the injury PFF had Milano as the 2nd best LB and Edmunds #3. I'd argue his absence was bigger than Vons will be. Not taking anything away from Von but Edmund's is that good and doesn't come off the field. We got the QB of the D back and I guarantee it shows going forward

Getting Groot back will be huge. He may not have the numbers but his presence is felt as far as pressures and freeing guys up. Hope Von will be back by January. Mark my words- with the return of Edmunds on Thurs , this D is going to look dominant again

I don't see any of them guys having an impact, including Toney. I hope they trot out MG3 , his fumbling issues are an extreme liability

As far as Stevenson, I expect him to be an x factor if healthy. Been talking about him all off season pre injury. The fact they played him last year as a rook over Hodgins etc tells me the staff likes him and he was a speed demon in college. I know he had injury and fumble issues last year but that was as a rookie, coming off IR. If he can get the ball security down Pat, he'll be a nice addition to the WRs

We've missed multiple all Pro, pro bowl and 1st rd picks though. Quality matters in this situation but we're still 8-3 and control our own destiny in division and potentially in the AFC

Most likely Rhodes won't even see the field with White/Elam manning the outside. Good point though. You could do WAYYY worse than Rhodes as a backup cb. He was very good in his prime

And peaked at 41 million viewers. America loves this team and who wouldn't? Even if I wasn't a Bills fan I'd tune in everytime they're on national TV, they're just a fun watch

You make some valid and well thought out points. So I respect you for that but I absolutely disagree that McD should be anywhere near fired. I'd even double down and give him another 5 year extension The points about Allen- there's a reason he has a QB coach and OC and if anything, the blame falls on them and not the HC who carefully built 17 into the best QB in the game after a horrendous rookie year. We only had elite Allen for 2.5 years. The culture McDermott built is second to none in the NFL. Bottom line

Overall I was very pleased with coaching these last 2 weeks Lions are way better than their record. We barely practiced for 2 straight gms and won both while facing a ton of adversity

Definitely Motor. He's been getting about 70% snaps lately and he deserves it. Cook/Hines are a nice change of pace to motors running style.
