Me, I've already met so many of the people from this board, yet I know there's a ton of others I still have to meet. I'll be looking forward to seeing those I know and have already met and I'm really looking forward to finally meeting some of the people I interact with here so often, like Thailog80 and ICE. This is going to be a great weekend, and it's going to start (at least, for me it is) in about an hour, when my vacation begins!! See you soon!

I wish I could go. Since I'll be going to 3 Bills home games, the Bills-Ravens game, and the Steelers-Browns game, plus hanging out w/richNjoisy's CNJBBB group for the Bills @ Pats game, I can't afford any other trips.

We ordered pizza and wings from Blasdell Pizza last year when we came up for the opener. I really liked their pizza and their wings were pretty good too.

I like the Anchor Bar. My wife and I were there the Saturday night before the Bills-Steelers game in '99 and we had a great time. It was really crowded that night, as there were tons of Steeler fans there, but the food was good and they had a jazz band playing that was good too. I like both Anchor Bar and Duff's wings. I don't think either "blows away" the other.

As a reminder, the tailgate will be at Sliders Bar and Grille October 24th before the Bills @ Ravens game. There will be a $10 fee for the buffet and there will be a 2 for 1 drink beer special as well (average out to about $1.50 per beer). More information can be found here about the tailgate. I will be on vacation starting tomorrow, and when I get back home, I'll probably post another thread on where to send in the fee for the buffet (we'll need to pay a deposit in advance) which will include the final buffet menu and all the relevant specials. They'll need a deposit at least 2 weeks in advance, so I'll probably start collecting the fees in another week or two. Hope to see a lot of you there!

There will be a lot of people who will go to the tailgatg but not go to the game due to the price and limited availability of tickets. Tickets? Check with the various ticket brokers, eBay, or even check out Ravens message boards or sunspot.net's(Baltimore Sun website) classifieds. Beyond that, I can't help you. I'm getting my tickets through a broker. And, the next time you stop through Baltimore and don't even have the decency to let me know about it, you're in trouble, mister!

I will. I'll be interested to see if he holds up game in, game out. He's even slighter than Julius Peppers, who learned a bit about how tough it is to be a smallish DE, even if you have great athletic ability (see the last Super Bowl for reference). If he turns out to be a dynamic pass rusher, I'll be the first to admit I was wrong about him.

Vick has had a pretty awful preseason. It's thought that teams know how to defense his abilities and know that he won't beat them in the pocket. I'm not so sure I agree with that. I have Vick in a couple leagues I'm in and I intend to start him as long as he's healthy. Haven't really kept up on Delhomme or Carr to know how they fared this preseason.

I don't know. I'm on the league page here. Maybe it's a firewall issue. That's why I made sure to schedule the draft for when I could access the league from my home computer. Although I can access the league page from work, I cannot use the draft room from work.

I thought DirecTV bought out Dish Network recently. If so, maybe you can get Sunday Ticket with the Dish Network. I have had DirecTV for over 3 years and until a better option WITH Sunday Ticket comes along, I'll continue to have it.
