  1. He's had double digit sacks in 6 of his 8 pro seasons. That's a heck of a lot of contract years. I'm not saying break the bank for this guy or to even sign him @ all, but let's not stretch the truth here.
  2. Do not attempt to circumvent the language filter, please.
  3. Training camp apparently cannot get here soon enough.
  4. It's the deepest position in this draft in terms of talent, so that's why there's so much emphasis being put on 'em now. There's two guys @ the top of the draft who could be the first two overall selections and behind those guys are another 4 guys who may be ready to be impact players for whichever team drafts 'em.
  5. Week 16 results are posted. Also, playoff seedings and draft order for non-playoff teams are listed.
  6. You do realize you're posting this on the Stadium Wall, right?
  7. Thanks, folks. I appreciate it. Since I got to spend the entire day w/ my wife, it was a wonderful birthday. Of course, she had to be to work @ 5am today. Ah well, birthday's over...
  8. I think Saffold is okay. He's a decent enough athlete, but has issues w/ his balance and w/ bull rushers. That doesn't scream blindside protector to me. Black has the bulk and the power, but boy did he get exposed (as many of the OTs did in Mobile) as a guy who couldn't handle edge rushers (Brandon Graham is forever in your debt).
  9. Work and tons of other stuff (some good, some not so good) interfered, but I am hoping to bounce back in time for the NFL Draft. We will do another 3 round mock draft, and I will work to do some write ups on players of interest.
  10. Is that all?
  11. I'll bet he does crawl into a shell in those cold, wintry moments. A shell like this...
  12. To be fair, many would consider the QB as part of the infrastructure. It is very tough to win in this league w/out quality play from the QB position. I try not to take sides. If the Bills luck out and Bradford or Clausen are available w/ the 9th pick, I won't go crazy if they take 'em. But, I also won't go crazy if the Bills don't draft a QB and instead focus on their lines or their LB position (especially after hearing of their move back to the 3-4 defense). This team needs way more than just a QB or just a DT/LB/OT to be competitive, so there's no need to take a side.
  13. That's your opinion on the LTs. There are those who feel a guy like Russell Okung is the kind of big, athletic OT that can be a stud LT in the pros, just like there are those who feel Bradford and Clausen MIGHT be a franchise QB. The league certainly has gone pass happy, but to say it's that way or the only way is to ignore the nice run the NY Jets had. They show that it is still possible to play sound defense, run the ball well, and have success. (I can hear the ", but they didn't win the championship" folks already....)
  14. Considering the Bills would probably have to move up to get him, and probably lose a 2nd round pick in the process, that kinda hampers the whole "build 'round him" thingy when you don't pick again 'til round 3. Good luck finding a blindside protector or a run stuffing NT of any quality then.
  15. Per the draft value chart, the 5th pick is 1,700pts and the 9th is 1,350. It would take the equivalent of the 55th overall pick, a lower 2nd, to equal the 5th.
  16. True. Then again, you're not the one opening up the checkbook and paying this potential RT as though he were a LT. Man, does the next CBA need to address rookie salaries. Badly!
  17. Some would say the exact same thing 'bout the QBs in this draft.
  18. Maybe so, but I'm gonna need to see more evidence. We've been down this road w/ Big 12 QBs before, haven't we?
  19. The Bills are converting their defense to a 3-4, a defense they ran back in the day, but one that they're horribly equipped to staff right now. I don't think going after an ILB is a bad idea if the circumstances work out that way. For instance, if there's no OT or QB worth the 9th overall selection, then take the best available player that will help you. Just my opinion, but I'd take a guy like Rolando McClain over basically anyone out there, w/ the exception of Ndamukong Suh or Russell Okung, who probably will not be available w/ the 9th overall pick.
  20. Week 14 results and updated playoff scenarios are posted.
  21. Hmm...@ a quick glance, this looks like a possible list of the top senior players, regardless of position. The absence of underclassmen like Joe Haden, Eric Berry, and Dez Bryant is a dead giveaway.
  22. You're in luck: they both did. He will, and deservedly so. Then again, so will Reed @ one point. Even though Reed is a bit of a jerk, he was one heck of a receiver.
  23. Big props for City Champ (Jackson). It's a well deserved honor and very timely w/ the Saints getting to the Super Bowl this year. Way to go, Dome Patrol!
  24. Wow. That must've been something to see.
