  1. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll get my copy on the 8th. Isn't that also the day that the 2nd season of Chappelle's Show comes out?
  2. Homicide was also an outstanding show. Of course, they'd mention it ad nauseum here since it was filmed in Baltimore, but it was one of the best dramas of its time. The show can measure up to some of the best dramas I've seen, actually, though Hill Street Blues is still my favorite TV drama of all time. Homicide would be in there too, along with Blue (of course), St Elsewhere, and a few others.
  3. Murder One, in its first season, was incredible. Great acting, great writing. Stanley Tucci should've gotten an Emmy for his work on that show. If it ever comes on one of the pay channels in reruns (it used to be on either A&E or USA at one time), you should watch it.
  4. If you've read posts of mine on PPP, then YOU must be drunk as I don't post there.
  5. Go to bed.
  6. That's the 2nd time they screwed up a really good show, the other being "Murder One". Man, was that a well written show. The reason people said it didn't work is because it only followed one case for the entire season. Well, look at the success Fox had with "24", which had a similar premise. They also did a poor job with their remake of Dragnet, which started off okay but got bad in a hurry.
  7. Sports Night was the bomb! That was the show I always thought was tailor made for HBO. I can only wonder how successful it would've been had HBO picked it up after ABC dropped it.
  8. You know it! We'll both be at the Bills-Steelers game and I promise we'll get there early enough to hang out with whoever shows up at Lot 1, Pole5. As the date draws nearer, I'll call you. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
  9. As usual, it will be just the wife and I tomorrow. Since I'm only off for the day, we don't travel anywhere. I kinda like it that way. A nice, quiet day with the wife and the boys (our cat and our dog). I hope you all enjoy the holidays and those of you who will travel: be safe!
  10. It wasn't meant to be funny. Lori, don't worry. AD and I have chatted outside of TBD and he knows just how much I can't stand him.
  11. Me too, except for that Alaska Darin guy. LancasterSteve is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Who would I like to have as dinner guests? I dunno. It would be hard to limit it to 4. Psycho Ward 86 might get a place at the table. Might.
  12. When Blue goes off the air, that will suck. That's the only ABC show I watch as I cannot stand Madden so I don't watch Monday Night Football. Their other shows just don't interest me in the least. Besides Blue, I watch Cold Case, the Law and Order shows (Criminal Intent is my favorite), the CSI shows, Without A Trace, and my usual documentaries on A&E like American Justice (my 2nd favorite show after Blue), City Confidential, Cold Case Files, and Investigative Reports. I'll sometimes catch The Simpsons, but we just buy the seasons when they come out on DVD.
  13. Are you moving away from the Philly area, or just somewhere within? You owe me a raincheck for missing out on meeting up with us and KRC's Bills Backers group last year for the Cowboys game.
  14. This post is, though.
  15. That sounds good. I like blueberry pie.
  16. Got any photos? I'm curious to see what this Racheal Hunter looks like. If she's as attractive as Rachel Hunter...
  17. They also missed the mark on a few high profile draft picks in Tim Couch, Courtney Brown, and Gerard Warren. Ugh!
  18. I have a few I like: sweet potato pie pecan pie peach cobbler cranberry jello mold (my Mother's Thanksgiving specialty) I have a good peach cobbler recipe that I can add to the cookbook.
  19. I think it's Margaret Spellings.
  20. Hahahahahaha!!!!!! Is this what would happen if the NFL were turned over to a bunch of computer geeks?
  21. I work in an office with a bunch of women. No hotties though. There are a couple who are fairly good looking, but none I would classify as being 'hot'. They do tend to yak quite a bit, too, especially in the morning before we open to the public.
  22. There's all kinds of rumors surrounding Pioli. He's supposedly the top candidate to become the head man in Cleveland if Davis is gone or if Davis' front office responsibilities are taken from him.
  23. Chewbacca really wanted some coffee, didn't he?
  24. With Mike Sanford, his offensive coordinator, interviewing for the head coaching position at UNLV, I'm just not sure that Meyer will leave the Utes high and dry, if Sanford does leave, that is. If they both were to leave, that would be rough for Utah.
