  1. They're all a bunch of big meanies!
  2. Right you are, Mike. Doesn't it suck when you sit down to watch a game and all they do is go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about the damn quarterback?
  3. Why not both? Mmmmmm............barbeque and mildew!
  4. There's still time for both teams to flirt with that top pick.
  5. Did anyone other than yourself mention any of those publications or what media they read/watch? Personally, I think everyone has a bias of some type or another. Just like how politicians are always talking about "special interest groups" and how others cave in to them. Well, who gets elected without any type of support from such groups? It's hypocrisy, and the media is not immune from it, as your examples and Fox News do a wonderful job of showing.
  6. Oh yeah. Now I recognize it.
  7. What's FoxNews?
  8. I hear they're thinking of using Ben Roethlisberger for the next one.
  9. Wasn't it Mastercard that did a similar commercial a while ago using Brett Favre?
  10. I didn't this morning before I went to work.
  11. Week 11: 7-6 Overall: 76-63-4
  12. I would associate with quite a few from this board and have done so, yourself included.
  13. Yeah, I have his solo album. Great stuff, more R&B than alternative, but he really shows off his singing ability on that one. I also liked the Vernon Reid solo album. Living Colour is a great group. I've seen them in concert twice, though I never saw the original lineup, unlike my brother, who saw their original lineup (Muzz Skillings on bass instead of Doug Wimbish) while in college.
  14. The thing about that tgreg99, I actually liked Any Given Sunday. Was it a cinematic classic or even up to par with Platoon, Born on the Fourth of July, or JFK? No. But, it was a good movie. I thought LT was surprisingly effective in it. I was expecting him to be just awful, but he did okay. They could've done without John McGinley's Jim Rome-esque character, a waste of a very talented actor. Other than that, I thought Pacino, Jamie Foxx, LL, Dennis Quaid, and even Cameron "Joker" Diaz did very well. I wonder just how much criticism he'll take is based just on this movie or is it directed at him, like Spike Lee receives? Spike got screwed out of an Oscar (what a surprise!) for his brilliant documentary "Four Little Girls".
  15. Really? Man, I thought it would be good just because Stone did it. He's usually pretty reliable.
  16. That all depends on whether or not my wife is working tomorrow.
  17. I may be drunk by that time. Or just asleep. Or dead. Who knows?-
  18. The only time I ever liked that song is when the Stones toured with Living Colour and Mick did the song with Corey Glover, Living Colour's lead singer. I have it on one of my tapes somewhere.
  19. More pathetic is the fan who repeats the same thing over and over while thinking himself intelligent for same.
  20. You're nothing we can't handle, bud.
  21. Bob James is great! He's one of my favorite piano players after Monk, Marcus Roberts, George Duke, and a few others.
  22. Who's Pasqualoni?
  23. More pathetic is the fan who repeats the same thing over and over while thinking himself intelligent for same.
  24. Nah. I'd rather just inflict pain on those who would recommend talking to a psychiatrist.
