  2. Ooooh! You said the N word. I'm telling! Being a Rockets fan in those days you mentioned was excrutiating and exhilirating at the same time. Winning tough playoff series against Utah, Phoenix (what a comeback that was!), and San Antonio were great moments. Losing tough playoff series, like when Stockton's shot took Houston out of the playoffs the one year, hurt a lot though. But, that's how it goes. I can remember even back to Ralph Sampson's putback that took the Lakers out of the playoffs and propelled Houston to the NBA Finals, where they lost to the Celtics. When I became a Rockets fan (I used to root for the Kansas City Kings with Phil Ford and Otis Birdsong leading the way before the Rockets), they had guys like Allen Leavell, Mitchell Wiggins, Lewis Lloyd, and John Lucas leading them, along with Sampson, of course.
  3. The postseason is a LONG way away and many things can happen between now and then. My Rockets are playing better with McGrady, though, than I thought they would. Still, Yao has to learn how to REBOUND!!!!!! Besides that, he's as good as any center in the game. Funny thing is, though, that rebounding is perhaps THE most important function of a center! Get tougher, Yao. I still miss Cutty Mobley, Cato, and, most of all, Stevie Franchise.
  4. Party!!!!!!!!!! Now we have a contact at Penn State who can get us tickets!
  5. Yeah, but what did Jim Kelly ever do for us?
  6. No, you shouldn't have.
  7. Tim Euhus
  8. What are you trying to say here? I don't get it.
  9. Ah, but the servant waits, while the master bates.
  10. I don't understand this.
  11. Happy birthday, slash! In honor of your day, I offer you my special new avatar, with a holiday flavor: Frosty the snowman using a white cowbell during a snowstorm.
  12. C'mon folks, this is breaking news. Doesn't anyone have any news about Owens' injury?
  13. Give 'em time and they'll be bickering over politics and slobbering over teenagers over there too.
  14. It looks like there's a lot more interest in this game due to the way the Bills have been playing lately. Psycho Ward 86 and I will be there. This will be the 3rd Steelers @ Bills game we've attended together (99 and 01) and my 9th overall in this series at RICH. How many others plan to brave the elements and cheer the Bills on to victory?
  15. Next time, Ray. Next time. Yesterday wasn't a great travel day for me. It took about an hour to get to Alexandria to pick up Glenn, then another 2 hours to get to Mulligan's. It then took another 2 hours to get back to Alexandria and a ridiculous 3 HOURS to get from Alexandria back home due to traffic accidents and ice. I left the house about 9:25am and got home at 11:15pm.
  16. Maybe we'll end up going to the same game. Once the schedule comes out (w/the dates), we can talk more about it.
  17. Looks like a nice crowd. I may be up there next year to watch a game there. I've narrowed it down to either VA Beach or NYC.
  18. Good point. I'm sure the Steelers were looking more towards this weekend's game with Baltimore when they played the Giants on Saturday and that's why they were so flat. I don't expect the same type of effort from them on Sunday.
  19. It may happen. That's always a good thing! I really feel the Steelers will be hyped up for this weekend's game.
