  1. Maybe that's why his jokes aren't funny.
  2. Hahaha!!! Probably, in his mind.
  3. Going w/the big market teams is the easiest way for them to ensure they will have ratings. Even w/a shift to smaller market matchups, I'd still stay away from it as long as they have Madden on. If the Bills were on, I guess I'd watch it, but I would turn down the sound as I cannot tolerate Madden's tired routine.
  4. Exactly. I have a cousin who is on the Michigan State football team. He also ran hurdles in high school (won 2 state titles in the 110 hurdles), and his recorded 40 time at Mich. State is 4.5! Running 4.8 is very tough. Now, imagine someone as big as the late Reggie White being able to do it, which he was. Scary, isn't it?
  5. What annual (or is it anuual) draft party?
  6. Well, the Dolphins did it when they spent a bunch of cash to get Steve Emtman and company a few years ago. The Redskins did it, too, bringing in Deion, Bruuuuce and company. Look what it did for them..................... oops.
  7. Glamour shots w/dogs??!!
  8. Probably so. Hurdles, huh? Nice. I did the 110s and 300s (PA has 300s, not 400s) in high school and the 110s in college.
  9. You learn to deal with it. Just keep a bottle of your favorite pain reliever (aspirin, ibuprofen, Tylenol, bourbon) at your desk.
  10. You may be right. There are exceptions (Jerome Bettis), but often it plays out as you said.
  11. Is this where we go to sign up for the Jonas Jennings Fan Club?
  12. I like the 3-4 defense, but we don't seem to have the personnel to play it now.
  13. No biggie, dave mcbride. I just remember his injury being reported by the Baltimore media.
  14. I readily admit that I wouldn't be anywhere close to a 4.82 in the 40. At the height of my athletic career (which isn't saying much), the best I could do in the 40 was about 4.55. That was over 10 years and 100 lbs ago!
  15. Jude Judy would take Martha out. Martha is real tough to people who are on her payroll. Reno and Spree would be a draw. Kirstie Alley wins, if beating Lewis gets her to the buffet line quicker. Jones is tough, but you don't cross The Boss. Ellen goes down for the count, but O'Reilly still gets beat by hypocrisy every time. I'd be afraid of Michael if I were anyone. Star vs The Fridge? They're both losers. Tie Domi wins, due to interference by special guest referee Marty McSorley. Snoop would destroy Stern. Newt gets the edge over Allred, but she'll win the lawsuit...... and the shouting match. I wouldn't take Whoopi lightly if I were Randy.
  16. Isn't that why he missed the '03 season? I thought it was an ACL injury.
  17. Most of the members of this board can run a 4.8 in the 40 or better.
  18. Yeah, run support was never his thing. He was drafted for his coverage abilities and his speed (4.3) and athleticism. Before the injuries, he was very solid, much like Chad Scott of the Steelers.
  19. Did you say something?
  20. "Been hurt" is putting it mildly. He's missed a ton of games recently and I believe one of his injuries was a torn ACL.
  21. Maybe you should give up drinking instead.
  22. Oh. I thought this was an ad for some pay per view steel cage death match or something.
  23. ...but just for a little bit.
