  1. Count me out. I don't drink alcohol.
  2. Are any of them funny?
  3. Even if this is much ado about nothing, the coach should know better than to put himself in this position.
  4. No. Free TV. Everyone should get the chance to see those idiots suffer.
  5. Now, you know there's no room for level headed posts here in the midst of this free agency hysteria, BGIM. C'mon, now.
  6. I don't think so either. The late Lynne Thigpen played the DJ. She was also on the TV show "Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?" and in the movie "Lean On Me". She was a pretty good actress.
  7. Nooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why can't Hollywood just leave it the heck alone? Does EVERYTHING have to be remade? Is every writer suffering from writer's block now or something? Damn. I loved the original. "...I'm gonna shove that bat up your a** and turn you into a popsicle!"
  8. Just another lovely day here in Charm City. Another shining example of the wonderful folks here. I have met some very nice people here in Baltimore, it's just unfortunate that in my job and also in daily life, I get to see these types of scum more often.
  9. Miami isn't the perfect situation to be in, but it's paradise compared to dealing with Bidwell's train wreck in the desert. I guess now that Mike Brown is at least attempting to do something with the Bengals, Bidwell is firmly taking over as the worst owner in the NFL. He and Donald Sterling (owner of the NBA's LA Clippers) should have a pay per view battle to see which of them is the worst owner in sports.
  10. Yeah. He played very well in place of Ray Lewis when Ray Ray got hurt a few years ago and more than held his own once he stepped in as the starter.
  11. I wonder what the over/under is on his career lasting 50 games.
  12. How'd you guess she likes the Steelers? Who told? Bell fell out of favor by: 1. Not staying healthy 2. Larry Foote playing very well while he was out 3. Being injured a lot 4. A breakout season by Farrior 5. Getting hurt a lot Oh, and he had a lot of difficulty staying healthy enough to play for the Steelers.
  13. Barron? No way. He'll be the first OL taken in the draft, possibly as high as 2nd (long shot, as I think Miami will go after Ronnie Brown). Brown? Maybe, but a long shot. Barnes? There's a good chance he'll be there, as his post Senior Bowl efforts have his stock falling. Johnson? He's one of the guys I really wouldn't mind seeing the Bills end up with. I could see him being around at our pick. Terry? He should be there as well.
  14. Drafting the best player available (which is a relative term, because it relies on the evaluations of the team, which isn't foolproof) isn't always the best move. I'll bet the Titans valued Ben Troupe as the best available at the time, but they would've been better suited using that pick on an O lineman (maybe Justin Smiley or Jacob Rogers) or even a linebacker (like Dontarrious Thomas), something they now acknowledge they really need. Maybe if they had taken Thomas there wouldn't be a need to go after a guy like Derrick Johnson of Texas this year, though they could still look to bring in a CB like Pac Man Jones of WVA, especially after letting Rolle go.
  15. I don't think either the 'need' or 'best available' situation fits every team every time. I wouldn't say never do either. Sometimes taking the best player works, as it did for the Bills in drafting McGahee with the first round pick a couple years ago. Sometimes it doesn't, as was the case when Tennessee drafted Ben Troupe last year. Then again, you can draft for need and end up better off (Ruben Brown) or no better and maybe even worse (Erik Flowers).
  16. I prefer Pardon The Interruption to Mike and Mike. NFL Network is good at times too.
