Nice response. See folks, you can get your point 'cross w/out a whole bunch of "the Bills suck" and "(name of person in Bills organization who doesn't do things my way here) doesn't know what he's doing" type posts. Even if said point is what many would consider a negative one.

It's the "insiders", be it Bills 'fans' or insiders, that I'd love to see heed your words. They're the ones who fly off the handle and shoot from the hip w/ the "he sucks" posts and the like. Not that I don't see where it's coming from; when you root for a team that has done next to nothing for a decade, then people are going to be irate, antsy for something better for their team, and all that. I get that. Thing is, you should also be realistic 'bout the team improving. It is, more than likely, not going to happen overnight. But, as long as the Bills progress towards being a competitive team, that's a good thing. Now, the non Bills fans who just want to take the opportunity to bash the team? I couldn't care less.

Yeah, Phil is okay. No problem reading what he's saying over here, either. Unlike Billszone, eh? Hahaha!!! Seriously though, you do have a point. Not only w/ this thread, but w/ other threads where TBDers are being harASSed by folks who obviously are just trying to earn some sort of reputation. This has caused several posters to either greatly reduce their time on TBD or to leave it altogether. This is also something that the staff has grown tired of and is ready to act on.

That's what I'm hoping: that the team finally has put in place the people who are going to reverse the losing trend. I realize that it won't happen overnight, but I do expect the Bills to progress toward that goal as opposed to being stuck in "same as it ever was" mode or, worse yet, regressing even further away from the goal. Once they actually improve the areas they've been lacking in for the past decade, the wins and (hopefully!!) title contention will take care of itself.

We're through the looking glass here, people...

Thanks for the well wishes, folks. It helps. Well, she's home from the hospital now and getting ready to rest and relax. Surgery was needed 'cause she woke me up 'round 3am Sunday morning due to upper abdominal pains and nausea. She suggested we go to the emergency room, which tipped me off that it was serious as she has NEVER gone to the ER before. When she got to the hospital, they ran some tests and discovered she had a bunch of gall stones and decided that they'd admit her to remove the gall bladder, which was done yestrday evening (read your book while in the waiting room, K). They kept her for observations overnight and told her this morning that she'd be leaving some time today. Well, some time was 'bout 3pm, some 36 hours after this whole thing started. We stopped to get her prescription filled and then came home. Thanks again for the well wishes. Psycho Ward was pleased to know how much you all care for her (more than me and I can live w/ that, as my main concern is for her health and well being). You folks are really great.
