  1. Depends. Have we found something else to whine about?
  2. Zealots are all the same, regardless of religion and denomination. Gee, you think they’ll issue a fatwa? Maybe you should gone with, “Does a bear crap in the Vatican?”, instead.
  3. No. The Pope craps in the path then pushes into the woods and blames it on the bear.
  4. Scoring more points and making offenses one-dimensional would help. But our gap integrity leaves a ton to be desired.
  5. Does Adams know how to stay on the red line? Or is he prone to running in-breakers, too?
  6. What kind of sorcery is this?
  7. Flying like the salmon of capistrano. Outstanding!
  8. We will never win the SB with him at the controls. He is mind-numbingly addle-brained with situational football late in halves. Frustrating.
  9. Agree entirely. Playing behind the sticks, especially on your side of the 50, can really limit your offense.
  10. Nothing about this game, except for some good defense at times, went the way I thought it would, especially with how dominant our O line was against what I thought was a much tougher Jest D. Kudos to Kromer and co. And of course Josh who made several signature plays. I wish we had receivers who could separate on time when he’s in the pocket, but we don’t so we are reliant on him breaking containment and making something happen on the run, but when Josh does his thing, it doesn’t seem to matter.
  11. It speaks well of your optimism that you considered them a serious SB contender this year in the first place. That said and as we’ve seen countless times over the years, anything can happen once you get to the dance. So while perhaps not being a serious contender, getting to the dance gives them a chance. That ball is shaped funny and weird crap happens all the time.
  12. We will be at 3-3 after six games if we lose tonight. How did you feel when we were 6-6 after twelve games last season? A loss tonight isn’t the end of anything, especially in our weak division.
  13. In shotgun maybe, but you do when you’re taking a snap from under center.
  14. A win of any kind, ugly or otherwise, would be a “get right” game.
  15. Halloween Day, 1987. Eight days later he introduced himself to John Elway and the Broncos and put the league on notice. Good times.
  16. I imagine their new HC will still be calling the defense. But I don’t think it matters because we just don’t match up very well with their personnel currently.
  17. Looks to be about 30 feet too short.
  18. Couldn’t agree more about needing a get right game, but I think the Jest, for us anyway, are the worst team to get one against. Our offense, as presently constructed, doesn’t match up well at all with that defense, imo. Hope to hell I’m wrong.
  19. The delayed onset of symptoms, which are quite common as you know, had me most concerned and the fact they didn’t materialize and Josh was able practice every day without incident is all I needed to assure myself he was good to go when returned to the game and is good to go now.
  20. That and can your defense get off the field with regularity or not. If the D is on the field more often, the D is gonna rack up more tackling stats.
  21. Citing the number of tackles by a linebacker as proof that he’s good or not is perhaps the most shallow analysis of the position.
  22. The sooner Milano is able to replace Williams, the better.
