Here’s the list of the 50 sports journalists who voted for the AP NFL MVP for last season. Jason Kirk, the author of that ludicrous SB Nation article, is nowhere to be seen. I imagine the list will be mostly the same for this year and NONE of them will be influenced by any article written or their previously held opinion before this season. They’ve all seen what Josh has become over the course of this year. And for what it’s worth, Josh was the runaway MVP winner in a poll of 27 high ranking NFL team officials. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/heres-the-full-list-of-the-50-ap-awards-voters Here is the link for the article on the poll from two days ago. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-executives-vote-on-2024-nfl-season-awards

Regardless of the change, both articles were/are not factual. There was never any doubt at all, AT ALL, that Josh Allen was gonna be a high first round pick.

Are the Patriots still the NFL team you dislike the most?

Nope. It’s always gonna be the Dolphins. The sting of the 70s still lingers. -
Yet. Why hasn’t it worked yet.

The Pegulas don’t need a cent from PSLs to defray overrun costs for the new stadium. According to one team source, the private equity shares were sold on a valuation basis of $5.8b while another team source said the valuation was $4.5b, so selling 20% of the team means that the Pegulas realized a cash infusion of anywhere from $900m to $1.1b. Must be nice.

I think the selling minority stakes in the team will defray any cost overruns for the new stadium.

If anything, he wanted to show he earned it last season, which he certainly did. But he has dropped off a cliff.

What? Staying in manageable down and distance situations is a good thing?

Your point stands regardless and I agree Josh is gonna have great conditions to take some shots when available, but SoFi stadium isn’t a dome; it’s a canopy.

Another in a line of Bills players to author children’s books along with Ray Bentley and Stevie Johnson. Nice.

Fans aren’t getting pumped from the song, they’re getting pumped by the shared communal experience with the players and each other. Aside from the optimism they reveal, the lyrics have little to do with it. Reminds me of the ‘91 team that went 13-3 that would have been 14-2 if we played any starters in the meaningless last game of the year at home against Detroit. Anyway, we were 5-0 when we headed to KC for a nationally televised Monday night clash, just like the Ravens was a nationally televised Sunday night contest, and the Chiefs cleaned our clocks to the tune of 33-6 and the game wasn’t as close as the final score indicated. People had the same questions about how good we were at the time, too. As others have pointed out above, it’s a week to week league.

But, but, but … wrong Josh.

Didn’t mean to imply your post wasn’t greatly appreciated because it is. Thanks. -

This was obvious just from watching the game on TV. -
I think the prevailing attitude is you can have the best village in the land, but it don’t mean much if you don’t have a great QB to lead it.

As long as we have Josh, it's always gonna be reload vs rebuild.

No, what you don't expect is for the 6th round pick to be the better player and force his way into the lineup.
