I’m not changing the argument at all. Just saying you can’t cite stats from 2021 as proof that this team can’t win one score games when the stats from 2020 clearly demonstrate that this team can win one score games. And btw, 2020 was only two years ago and there isn’t a big enough sample from this season to be included for analysis. It’s simply a two season analysis; 2020 and 2021. And I don’t give a FF if people care or not.

When the narrative is these coaches and players can’t win close games, 2020 must be included in the analysis because it’s essentially the same cast of characters being evaluated. Otherwise, it’s dishonest because this group had clearly demonstrated their capability to win close games previously.

I’d lean towards Bennett. Diggs is a key piece, but the acquisition of Bennett changed the balance of power in the AFC East, whereas I feel Allen’s development and Brady’s departure from the division was the major cause this time around. That’s taking nothing away from Diggs in the least. He’s a beast in his own right.

Per the bold, if Ravens fans are upset about the play Poyer made, they should acquaint themselves with the rule book. Poyer has just as much of a right to make a play on the ball as the receiver does, which is exactly what he did. Unlike Poyer, the Ravens DB who clocked McKenzie did no such thing. As far from a “mirror image” as can be.
