  1. We all came from Africa. What’s the mystery?
  2. Don’t recall off hand. But there are countless QBs I liked that crapped the bed.
  3. Three-way team tie breaker. End of story. All the other stuff, from getting favorable calls from refs to forcing turnovers and everything in between tend to even out over the course of the season and EVERY team benefits or suffers because of them.
  4. Sad to hear. Less media diversity leaves us more susceptible to less media diversity.
  5. Good riddance. I’ve lost all the respect I had for him both as a player and a local kid who did well. Great player, greater douche.
  6. It was a shame his receivers couldn't hold on to some of the balls thrown in that video; they were right there. It's safe to say that none of the Bills receivers have caught passes from a QB that can spin it like Allen and I think there may be an adjustment period in store.
  7. GREAT stuff here. Especially the mention of the importance of tempo. NE*** kills teams with tempo changes once they get you in unfavorable sub packages.
  8. But only if his arm is protected by a carbon fiber brace that can be used as a weapon.
  9. Genius move by the Pats***!
  10. Spending those two years in the USFL was the best thing that could have happened for Kelly’s development. He came to us knowing how to read defenses and I doubt he would have learned as much under Kay Stephenson and Co. vs. what he learned with Mouse Davis.
  11. Not paying Wade and forcing him to file a grievance. Did a lot to damage our reputation among the coaching community at the time.
  12. Sometimes, Buffalo is the perfect metaphor.
  13. Yes and it can be difficult to substantiate harm to your reputation. But lying to an officer of the law by making a false accusation is a crime, regardless, and much easier to prove.
  14. Really? Are you sure that’s Mike Rodak?
  15. Loggains? As in rhymes with no gains?
  16. It is against the law to file false allegations. Filing a false police report can be either a misdemeanor or a felony, depending. One can also be sued for defamation as well.
  17. I had the same thought when I read that post. The writer didn’t accuse Patricia of anything in the article nor was their anything unfounded as what he reported on is a matter of public record. I have to question both the timing of and motivation behind the article, though. Is it both a hit piece on Patricia and an indictment of the Lions’ vetting process?
  18. Kid is as poised as he is gracious. Hope that translates to the field. I haven’t seen him in a moment that seems too big for him.
  19. Of course reasonable minded Bills fans want to see him succeed. I'm referring to the anti-Allen crowd that has existed since before, during, and after the draft. You know, the "I can't wait to tell you I told you so crowd." They will micro-scrutinize every mistake he makes in rookie camp, OTAs, mini camp, training camp, preseason, etc., just ready to pounce.
  20. Great point here. Any hiccup, ANY, in these camps will be scrutinized and used as ammo for the anti Allen crowd, while any great play will be tossed off as needing to wait until he’s in real games. Funny how that works.
  21. And multiple shoe deals at that. One for each foot. Nike on the left, UnderArmor on the right.
  22. Fun times, indeed. As others have pointed out, the OP said “favorite” not “best”, which are quite different qualifiers. By that measure any number of RBs could head the list and TT is more than worthy on that score. When it comes to best though, few RBs in history, let alone former Bills backs, can hold a candle to Simpson in terms of sheer ability.
  23. Blake Bortles: catcher in the rye.
