  1. Gregg “Man Boobs” Williams: douche nozzle extraordinaire. “Bless ‘em”
  2. According to John Vogl, he had a no movement clause and agreed to waive it to come here.
  3. If he was turning thumbs down on other trades, that bodes very well for an extension to get done here.
  4. On the bright side, he had to waive his no trade clause and agree to come here, so perhaps that bodes well for him to re-sign with the Sabres?
  5. Tim who? Not Graham I hope.
  6. I haven't seen one post expressing worry about the Pats*** signing him. I'd actually like to see him go there rather than sign here. He's not that good. Especially when he doesn't have much help at the the other wideout positions and NE*** is really hurting there at the moment.
  7. Back to the Pats*** is my guess.
  8. LOL, I forgot about that. Still, doing it from the shotgun vs. actually putting your hands under the guard's ass for the snap just isn't as elegant.
  9. I can't speak to why anyone else has been "beating him up", but as far as I'm concerned, not being able to distinguish between a deliberate throwaway and a "brutal incompletion" as he phrased it, calls into question everything else he reports on. Again, that's the danger of stream of consciousness twitter reporting vs. a carefully considered and crafted report.
  10. Oh, the bullets aren't limited to short throws so I'm not surprised his medium range passes are too hot to handle as well. But I was referring to reports about his lack of touch on short passes as well. Again, reminiscent of Elway's first year.
  11. OK, I'll go there. Reports of his lack of touch on short throws and "bullets" too hot to handle are very reminiscent of those about Elway in his rookie year. Yeah, that's right. I just made a comparison between Allen and John Elway. Now, if Allen can manage to line up under his guard to take the snap during a game, I'll know he's truly on the Elway track.
  12. Eric Decker. Now that's the receiver Brady has been waiting for his entire career. This could put the Pats*** over the top I tell ya!
  13. Bangers and mash.
  14. Right, like that's what I'm advocating by critiquing his reporting. Ironically, you've overreacted to your perceived overreaction by others to Thad Brown's reporting. Brown and every other reporter using the twitter verse as a reporting medium should be cautious in their use stream of consciousness reporting as it's much easier to expose their lack of knowledge while doing so. Especially Thad Brown.
  15. Well, it's those "word choices" that speak directly to his understanding of the game and, by extension, his very credibility as a reporter. Sorry, but you can't "report" a deliberate throwaway by a QB as a "brutal incompletion" and not expect to be taken to task for it.
  16. I agree. But, according to Thad Brown the other day, deliberately throwing the ball away is also a "brutal" incomplete pass. He uses that word a lot, too. At least when he's describing Josh Allen incompletions.
  17. Given that Thad Brown doesn't know the difference between a deliberate throwaway by the QB and a "brutal" incomplete pass, I think it's safe to assume Sal C it correct.
  18. I don't do that if I'm Oakland. My starting point is what we paid for Bennett back in the day and I'm not sure I want Hughes filling the role of Greg Bell as the player involved; he and Mack would be bookends like Bennett and Bruce. I wonder if we could find a third team to be involved like we did with Indy back then as well. Oakland could reap a draft windfall of picks if that were the case. All that said, Bennett was a missing piece that changed the power structure in the AFC East overnight whereas we aren't that one player away as currently constructed so it may not make as much sense for us to part with all those assets. But if any player is worth it, it's Mack.
  19. White strikes me as the type to let his DROY and Pro Bowl snubs serve to motivate him. I'm predicting a Pro Bowl birth and a selection to an All Pro team for him this year.
  20. If Thad Brown can't differentiate between a throwaway and a bad throw, then I have to wonder why I should trust anything he says moving forward. Goes right to his credibility as a football reporter.
