He looked at the lack of QBs on those teams and made the right decision. I don’t care how great of a schemer an OC is, if you don’t have the right QB, odds are it won’t be pretty.

Not surprised in the least. His problem has been a recurring issue with his back, but when healthy, he can dominate. And he’s got that mean streak you love to see in an offensive lineman.

That’s perhaps the most unfortunate thing about sports. The vast majority of great players and guys that deserve it the most never even get the chance to win it all. And players seem to understand that better than anyone. Micah is gonna have his name on the Wall of Fame sooner than later.

I’m sure all the great Chiefs players from the AFL and early merger years have been mentioned, but I’ll add Noland “Super Gnat” Smith. Not a great player, but he was freakishly small and fast and was fun to watch return kicks and punts when I was a little kid. That play really underscored how it’s a game of inches because Cam Lewis came within a hair of getting his hand on the ball when it left Kelce’s hand. We’ll ever know who would have recovered the loose ball after Lewis deflected it, but Kelce stood a good chance of looking like an idiot instead of being praised for an amazing ad lib.
