  1. Way to stay classy, Chicago. Shameful.
  2. It’ll be a miracle if they whip anybody.
  3. Until they settle the QB position, it’s gonna be a tough road to hoe for Mayo. But that defense is legit upper tier so he has something to work with until they do find a QB.
  4. Lake effect bands are perhaps the most unpredictable weather patterns. Winds can be a fickle thing.
  5. I understand all that and I agree it was on the defense to stop them. But it was an extra possession for Miami and it’s still considered “points off turnovers” just as it would be if the Phins scored on an 80 yard play on their first play from scrimmage after the touchback.
  6. Actually, it did cost us. Miami scored on the ensuing drive after the touchback.
  7. Among others, yes. It’s a requirement of the position.
  8. That’s a fair point as well.
  9. Monday would be better. It’s a holiday and many people are off work.
  10. Also not one fat person in the entire video.
  11. Lucky it didn’t happen at higher altitude so it could have been much worse.
  12. Total brain cramp on my part as I completely ignored that it was a catch. Thanks for the clarification.
  13. Because the penalty for a helmet to helmet hit is 15 yards and not at the spot of the foul. Since the line of scrimmage was the 11 yard line the penalty would be half the distance to the goal and the Bills would have one more play from the five yard line.
  14. I think what @QLBillsFanwas driving at is if the helmet to helmet penalty was called and since a half can’t end on a defensive penalty, the Bills would have been able to run one last play. However, the ball would not have been marked at the “six inch line” because the penalty yardage would have been marked off from the line of scrimmage.
  15. Allen scrambled to the Bills 49, they tacked on the five yards, and the next play from scrimmage was 1st and 10 at the Miami 46 so the penalty math works.
  16. It can’t be a surprise that the gutless cretin refs didn’t throw the flag on that play in that situation. As for the play itself, I think Johnson could have thinned out the route a bit, but he did all he could given his relative inexperience with Josh.
  17. Buddy Ryan was D line coach in the early sixties.
  18. Now that you mention it, yes. He was also the DB coach for the Bills under Kay Stephenson in ‘84.
  19. Both. And they are built into the scheme. Warner was correct in saying Josh’s options were too slow in uncovering.
  20. Good riddance. There are already too many conspiracists and spreaders of misinformation exploiting mass media outlets. I’m sure ARod wont have any trouble finding another outlet to propagate his bullcrap.
  21. Warner shows one example after another of why we miss a guy like Beasley so much. Nobody was better at pre and post snap reads and finding open areas quickly for Josh. He was always an option and we need a player who can make the hot reads like that.
  22. Are you seriously asking why a fanatic would choose to emulate a player? Maybe just wearing Tua’s jersey wasn’t enough for the guy.
  23. He’s copying Tua’s eyeblack style with the two crosses.
  24. Moon balls won’t work either with or against the expected winds on Sunday. Passing game is gonna require frozen ropes. Advantage Allen and the Bills.
