Looks risky and i would say shows there is something significant with the left hand.   Propobaly/hopefully a broken bone or two vs ligaments.

I also wonder if the injury is a blessing and it is forcing them to figure out how to get by without the full Josh Allen experience. Emphasis on quick throws and let the playmakers make plays.

Yeah, it's obvious there's an issue with his hand. Won't be a problem as long as someone doesn't target that hand with a cheap shot, which has been known to happen at times in this league

    He's been outstanding.

I did not think he'd ever be a good enough athlete to stand out there on his own.

I was never concerned about his athleticism as he's always demonstrated that when healthy. My big concerns were his raw inexperience and health. This is the first time his back hasn't been an issue for him. And Kromer is the best coach for him as well

This is a classic case of seeing the symptom rather than the disease.

Corporations didn’t headquarter in Atlanta because they liked the humid air and home-cooked chicken. They did so because they saw the investment there.

Atlanta grew because people flock to jobs. Where are there jobs? Where businesses are. Where are there businesses? Where growth and investment is.

Outside of Coke, which is headquartered in Atlanta simply because Dr. John Stith Pemberton lived there when he invented Coke, the other companies moved to Atlanta because of investment. UPS IN 1991. Home Depot in 1978. Chik-Fil-A in 1967. Newell in 2016. NCR in 2009.

Chicken and the egg folks. Atlanta isn’t big because big companies go there. Big companies go there because Atlanta is big due to big investment.

Correct. But little of that has to do with stadium construction.

Waggle Right Naked with a Z Corner/Comeback Y Delay to the Flat and the backside running a Drag with a Post on the backside. Usually a nice easy throw to begin the game to the TE Delay with the option to let the QB take off for positive yardage.

I'd go with the spider 2 Y banana instead.

See wut I mean when I says the Jets might not get enuf hard games to gettem in shape for the playoffs?  Just up and down the field like nuthin all night.  Meanwhile youse gotta put out hits on pipsqueaks like Tua to get the job done.  So classy.  Did that punk get suspended for that?  I think the Bills is the second best in the division and might sneak into a playoff spot but with Rodgers I don’t see where no one else has a shot in the AFC.  I hope San Fran makes it cuz we owe them one.  It mighta been on purpose we lost to blast them in the Super Bowl.

When does the Bills and Jets play anybody know?  Or is that like sumthin stupid for youse to look at like looking over a cliff or like that?

Kind of feel like NE is wasting time by not playing him. Maybe they don’t want him exposed against the Jets D line. But he looked decent in preseason and they should get him out there this season and deal with the learning curve so he’s ready to roll in 2025.

If I'm Mayo I keep that kid as far away from this game as possible.

Miami is going to score 40 IMO.

We don't have the Safeties to disguise coverage or delay Tua's reads.

Hill and Waddle are going to run wild against Rapp and Hamlin

The only thing that will help is another great game from Rousseau and Von

We didn't have both starting safeties two years ago and other than the one long pass to Waddle late in the game, their O didn't do jack all day. I'm more worried about the loss of Taron going into this game. That and Williams needs to get a clue at LB position next to Bernard.

oh he will for sure be schemed into motion, bunches etc….

but just like the risk of jumping a route, if you try to muscle a guy that fast and he dips/ducks/dodges you can get into trouble

I agree entirely that Reid will scheme him into motion, bunched sets, etc. and that underscores my point which is that he is not an on ball receiver.

Muscling little fast guys at the LOS is different than muscling little quick guys at the LOS. Worthy has world class straight line speed and he can take the top off a defense if allowed free releases, but we’ve seen for years how little guys can struggle vs. continuous contact for five yards vs press coverage. And I think that’s what DCs will do if he lines up on the ball with any frequency. If he were strong like Tyreek Hill, I’d think differently, but he’s just not.

He didn‘t get a free release.  Marlon Humphrey jammed him.

Watch it again. Humphrey was three yards off the LOS and not playing press. Worthy had a free, three step release before Humphrey stepped up to bump him with that little shove to the side, which actually helped worthy get to the sideline. I just don’t think DCs are gonna give him that room very often. It also helps when your CBs know what the coverage assignments are because Humphrey was playing zone and clearly expecting help when he passed Worthy off.

if they hit on worthy and it’s a miss on Keon, a safety doesn’t fix that

bigger stronger corners will be a risk to put on him as they as tend to be slower

Not necessarily. A good chuck at the line negates a ton of Worthy’s speed advantage. I’ll be surprised if he plays more on the ball than off the ball as the season progresses and defenses adjust. We shall see.

  11. It’s only a matter of time before DCs play press coverage when Worthy is line up on the LOS, depending on the game situation. I haven’t changed my opinion one bit that he is an off ball receiver because he struggles against press coverage, especially against bigger, stronger CBs. Kudos to Mahomes for seeing the play, but it never would have happened if Worthy wasn’t allowed a free release.
