I'd re-sign him. Then I'd wait a couple weeks after free agency starts and sign a couple of players on "show me" contracts. Then go heavy on offense in the draft with at least 1 C/G and 1 OT, at least 1 WR early, at least 1 Safety. Offensive line, WR and Safety are the teams biggest needs. Add LB to that list if you let Edmunds go.

I'd be surprised if Singletary gets anything near the 5.5M they predict his price will be. 1. Cook - We don't use RB's much anyway, he can handle the load 2. Hines - Great return man and should be more involved with the offense. Would love to see plays with both of them on the field together. 3. ??? - I'd love to see a short yardage power back who can block. Either a 5th round draft pick or a UDFA. 4. Free Agent for the Practice Squad who can run, catch and is cheap. No point in spending money here

I'm pretty sure that Johnson took the blueprints to his defense to the grave with him. I remember Johnson's defense as being aggressive with a lot of blitzing, McD must have forgotten what Johnson taught him.

My expectations for 2023 ... 1. Bills will win the AFC East with a 12-5 record. At times they'll look like a Super Bowl contender, at times they'll look absolutely disinterested. 2. If there is a worthy Tackle available in the 2nd round (after they pick a DE in the first) Brown's starting job is in jeopardy.

I'd give Moss a D instead of an F,,, The F would go to McBeane on this guy. Hodgins gets a C from me,,, Another failure of McBeane for being blind on this kid. He looks good in Jersey. Dane Jackson I'd give a B instead of an A. He's played good, especially for a 7th round pick. I just think an A is too high of a grade. Epenesa - He lost a ton of weight since he was drafted, maybe they should move him to LB or Safety.

First off I'd make myself GM and give myself a seven digit salary. I'd keep Beane around for a year to learn what to do and not to do. McD gets at least one more year depending on what his defense looks like in the playoffs. If they can't play defense in the playoffs yet again, he's gone. Frazier gets the opportunity to retire or resign but he won't be back. If this was a week ago I'd have gone with the power of the Schwartz, but since he's gone I'd probably go with Wilks. The offense put up similar numbers going from Daboll to Dorsey and I think he'll get better after a year on the job. This year in free agency and the draft, it's all about protecting Josh better and getting him some more weapons.

There's the possibility that at this point we don't have any Safeties on our roster. Poyer likely gets more than we can afford to pay elsewhere. Though his injury filled season may lower his value on the market. Marlowe and Johnson are free agents Hyde and Hamlin may never play again because of medical conditions Neal was used at Safety before being moved to CB. He could be a candidate to move back.

We do need to up our collection of guys named Williams.

Saffold is the weakest link and needs to be replaced, preferably by a 1st or 2nd round rookie. Brown needs to have some serious competition for his starting job as well.
