  1. I'd be surprised if Shakir doesn't take advantage of this opportunity. With Hines taking over and doing a great job as the returner, McKenzie doesn't even have that to protect his job. I believe Beasley is still under contract and he should return in a backup role, maybe 66% Shakir, 33% Beasley, to keep him healthy for the playoffs. Crowder I'd only bring back at vet minimum and use him sparingly if so. He's unfortunately made of glass. Then again, Von said OBJ would be a Bill ...
  2. I still don't get why teams are rewarded with extra picks for letting players walk away in FA.
  3. Not since they dumped Rex, they've been a train wreck ever since.
  4. So he was rated 77th out of 96 Safeties and people are up in arms we didn't trade for him ? The Bills can do better than that.
  5. One of my favorite bands growing up. The first time I saw him was in the RCB in Rochester after they put out their second album in the early 80's, UFO opened the show. I later saw them at the NYS Fair in the mid 80's after Allen Collins passed. RIP Gary Rossington ... Thanks for the music.
  6. 27. Steve Avila - G - TCU (Get the guy you want even if it's a reach) 59. Jack Campbell - LB - Iowa (I don't think they'll pay Edmunds, LB is important in the McD scheme) 91. Nathaniel Dell - WR - Houston (Best WR left) 130. Ja'Ayir Brown - S - Penn St (Best Safety left, all we have at the position is Hyde and that kid KC cut) 139. Tank Bigsby - RB - Auburn (A RB named Tank in the 5th round, yes please) 205. Aidan O'Connell - QB - Purdue (It's time to stop paying backup QB's 6M per year. Get a youngster in to learn and not cost a ton)
  7. The Bills are fun to watch again for the first time since Son of Bum was on the sidelines, therefore they've exceeded my expectations. This year I had higher expectations that went unfulfilled, I should know better.
  8. Murdaugh does have that killer instinct a coach should have, but he won't be available game days, EVER.
  9. LT - Dawkins LG - Bates C - Morse RG - Avila RT - Brown Moving Bates to LG improves that position over Saffold Drafting Avila improves the RG spot over Bates I'm hoping Brown being healthy, will show improvement, but he'll get legitimate competition for his job this year from another high draft choice.
  10. He won't look as good next season without Saquan Barkley to hand off to. The Giants started out great last year going 6-1 ... after that they went 3-6-1.
  11. Yolo is really Leslie Frazier and is taking the year off ... Prove me wrong.
  12. That link was for an article dated 3/28/22
  13. He's not getting involved in an activity that'll get him hurt or arrested, so I'm cool with it.
  14. Super Bowl Champions don't need scapegoats.
  15. Will there be heated seats ? ... It would help with snow removal and make the stadium state of the art, worth every penny. I don't think mother nature will approve of screens trying to confuse her winds.
  16. Hopefully the new Receivers coach can teach these guys how to catch the football. I also hope someone on the defensive side of the ball can teach his players how to tackle.
  17. I'm on the protect Josh first bandwagon as well. Doing this mock there were no lineman worth it in that spot, not even O'Cyrus Torrence. Linemen and WRs went fast in this draft. Smith could be VMs eventual replacement on the edge and Skinner has the size (6'4" 218) and models his game after his childhood favorite (Cam Chancellor).
  18. Poyer and Hyde were the heart and soul of this defense. Without Hyde, and with nagging injuries all season, Poyer wasn't his normal self. I don't think the money will be as big for a Safety on the wrong side of 30 as he does. I hope he doesn't sign for another team for less than what the Bills will offer. If he leaves, I wish him the best, he is a warrior for this team.
  19. I kind of like the opening kickoff return for a TD one, especially if it's against the patriots.
