  1. It's a tough game for tough people. You could wrap em up in bubble wrap but as soon as that wrap comes off it's going to hurt. Get them used to some pain now. They need to work on execution against someone wearing a different uniform than the guys they see daily. For some reason though, I think it might be more beneficial to play them PS week three instead. It gets them one more week of practice, and it's closer to the regular season.
  2. Apparently the two guys who make the decisions and see Spencer Brown daily don't share your concern OP. Brown is the clear starter in their minds and Quessenberry is his backup. IIRC Quessenberry played both Tackle spots at some point last year and I thought I even saw him at RG if memory is correct. He may not be a pro bowler but what backup is ? ... He seems to do his job. I'd like to see more Van De Mark and Gouraige this week since Shell decided to retire.
  3. 2 of 2 passing, 150 yards, 2 TD's then put him in bubble wrap.
  4. 1. No injuries 2. Less penalties 3. Barkley in the game before K. Allen. Barkley looked better vs the Colts, lets see it switched around this week where K. Allen gets to face the 3rd string.
  5. Of course it is, we're Bills fans **** the Jests. I believe old man Rodgers is going to get killed behind that line and Wilson will look awful when A-Aron goes down for a spell.
  6. Who was cut to make a roster spot or were they below 90 ?
  7. One player I haven't seen mentioned who I think looked real good out there was LB Travin Howard (45). He made that great stop on the 2 point conversion and had a couple of other solid hits. He was out there a lot with Spector and to my eyes he looked better. I see the Bills keeping 5 LB's - Milano, Dodson, Williams, Bernard are probably locks with Klein, Howard and Spector fighting for the 5th spot. I'll be watching Howard next week, if he has another solid game he could be #5. Good write up Gunner !!!
  8. 1. Chiefs 2. Eagles 3. Bengals 4. Bills 5. Vikings Could cause trouble - 49ers, Lions, Saints Why these won't be... Dolphins - Tua will have a couple more spinal injuries Ravens - Lamar seems to miss lots of games, I expect that to continue Jests - Rodgers will be bruised and battered behind that line Broncos - IMO Wilson is toast
  9. Dorian Williams looked fantastic Micah Hyde and Damar Hamlin were both in on a few tackles which was great to see coming back from the injuries they had last year. Shakir shouldn't have dropped that easy pass but before that he made two real nice catches and had a heads up block on K. Allen's scramble for a first down.
  10. Looked like #36 would've filled that hole on the TD but he was busy being tackled.
  11. All of this movement between conferences is making college football less interesting instead of more interesting, for me anyway. Maybe Syracuse will join the PAC?
  12. Have the Chiefs signed him to a futures contract yet ? I'd be surprised if he even does three years in prison, famous people get breaks us plebes don't.
  13. Despite learning how to fall when he gets ragdolled, I think Tua will have a few spinal injuries this season.
  14. I recall a number of years ago when Arthur Blank, owner of the Falcons made a comment that he wished the Falcons had been picked to be in the Super Bowl.
  15. Looks like a typical Brady era game. If those were patriot receivers there would've been a lot of flags. Good for Marv telling them they were bought.
  16. Maybe so but his production on Special Teams was behind both Cam Lewis and Siran Neal, who are both players on the roster bubble and actually get snaps on defense. I'd keep both of them ahead of Matekevich. Taiwan Jones didn't even make the top 100 ST tackle list.(just thought I'd throw that in) Last year Klein was the 3rd best LB on the team and #2 is now a Bear. Has he been passed up by Dodson, Bernard, Williams or anybody else ? ... If he has been passed up you cut him, if not, he'd be more valuable to the team than a ST only player.
  17. Author Posted 2 hours ago Based on feedback.... Morris in, Sterberger out. 18. The Finger Lakes are most noted for their Rieslings. Both Dry and semi dry are quite good (great on a fall day). There are some top notch Chardonnay's though. Sweet wines however are what floats the NY wine industry.
  19. We aren't the Jests, who will be the best team ever. 🥸
  20. I thought it would be a better place to find a wife than tinder.
  21. The kickoff is the perfect time to get rid of used beer and get new beer, food, a quick hitter etc ...
  22. Losing Hines for the year will likely hurt the return game. Special teams - who will replace Taiwan and TD Jesus ? J/K Outside of MLB and possibly the return game, this team is the same or better everywhere.
  23. My spidey senses tell me he'll suffer a mysterious injury just before cut time and be placed on IR. I don't think the Bills will cut him just yet.
  24. Now they'll have to pay Jonathon Taylor or look forward to starting Jake Funk.
