Geno Smith to Las Vegas for a 3rd Round Pick
frostbitmic replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
We should've drafted Geno over EJ. -
A not great (for Bills) mock draft. What would you do different?!

That's the time NFL Draftbuzz had on him ... Accurate or not I'm not sure. -

30. Alfred Collins - DT - Texas ... 6'6" 330 LB DT. Just what the Dr ordered. 59. JT Tuimoloau - EDGE - Ohio St ... We need a pass rusher too... 4.62 forty. 62. Azareye'h Thomas - CB - Florida St ... Need to replace Douglas. These players were picked later in their draft than where the Bills pick. -
Von Miller & Bills trying to agree on contract?
frostbitmic replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Von is already our #3 DE unless he gets passed up by Solomon, a rookie and or a Smoot re-signing. For as much abuse as Epenesa gets as a player here, he is better and cheaper than Miller at this stage of his career. -
I'm trying to picture Minshew being on the same team as Hollins ... I kind of like it.
-
Crosby - Gone at about 35M per. Garrett - Will want Crosby $$$ ... Browns say he's not available, I believe them, they'll give him Crosby money and he'll be happy. Metcalf - I don't see the Bills going for him... The Raiders on the other hand, catching passes from Brady. Adams - Unlikely since we won't be signing Mr Rodgers to be our backup QB. Cooper - I think he wants to go someplace warm unless you over pay for his services. I don't see a high end FA or a trade for a big name. Most likely we'll go for a friend of Josh, either Cap'n Kirk or Hollywood, re-sign Hollins and draft a WR in the 4th or 5th round after going DT/Edge/CB in the first two rounds.

Will he work for food ?

When we need to go into the 5 slot WR Offense we'll be ready.

Bills top 5 WR for 2025 1. Hollywood - Haven't you heard that Josh wants to throw to Hollywood ? 2. Shakir - Catches everything, great RAC Receiver 3. Coleman - He'll improve this year even if it's baby steps 4. Hollins - Infectious personality, great in the locker room, on the sidelines and on the field, I'd re-sign him. 5. Samuel - He's a good Receiver if he can stay healthy. It's likely they have a 6th WR on the roster and a day 2 or 3 WR is on the radar to compete with Shavers and any other FAs they end up signing.

30. Kenneth Grant DT Michigan 56. Princely Umanmielen EDGE Ole Miss 62. Isaiah Bond WR Texas 108. Jaylen Reed S Penn State 131. Mello Dotson CB Kansas 171. Dylan Sampson RB Tennessee 175. J.J. Pegues DT Ole Miss 179. Teddye Buchanan LB California 206. Luke Lachey TE Iowa 208. Xavier Truss OG Georgia My latest result from Pro Football Network ... I've done a number of mocks on that site and I get Grant every time, I'd love that.

When it comes down to DE the question is, do they cut Von or keep him ? .. According to some on here towards the end of last season, Von was back to normal and just waiting for the playoffs to turn it on, maybe he'll turn it on this year 😆. I guess my question is what is the cost of keeping him vs the cost of pre and post June 1st dead cap hits for dumping him ?

NFL Off-Season Free Agency/Trade Positional Breakdown WR
frostbitmic replied to billsfan89's topic in The Stadium Wall
A burner/deep threat goes against the idea of complimentary football, it puts the Defense back on the field too quickly. We need chain movers, guys with great short burst to get open quickly and can catch the ball. After re-signing Shakir, next on the Bills WR list needs to be Mack Hollins, he gets open, he catches the ball and he's a team leader. -
UFL to end traditional onside kicks
frostbitmic replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Copying a league that'll be gone in a couple more years is not a great business strategy, especially when what you're copying sucks. To my eyes, I don't see where the new Kickoff play is any safer than the old one. It looks to me like more chaos and bigger piles of humanity and whatever they do in those piles. Either return to traditional Kickoffs or just place the ball at the 20 and get on with it... Then figure out what a catch is. -

NFLPA Team Report Cards out - Bills are 23/32

Charter a bigger plane, most of these players are pretty large. Coaches are generally not as big as players, have them sit in the smaller seats. -
Not a bad career for an undrafted TE.

NFL may push touchbacks up to the 35 yard line
frostbitmic replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
IMO a team should get a point if they kick it through the uprights on a kickoff. I don't think another 5 yards is going to change a teams kicking philosophy. I'd still have Bass put it through the end zone on a kickoff every time. -
Pie #1 go to- Pepperoni, Sweet Banana Pepper Rings, Red Pepper Flakes ... Sometimes add on ground Ital Sausage. Pie #2 - White Pizza with Black Olives and Basil Leaves Pie #3 - Just for me, my wife considers this a sin ... Ham and Pineapple A little drizzle of Hot Honey goes nicely on any Pizza.
