Bold predictions for tonight's first round.
frostbitmic replied to turftoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My bold pick of the day is that Detroit won't trade out of the 3 spot unless someone takes Tua at #2. If Tua is available at #3 he will be a Detroit Lion. Stafford is getting older and will never take the Lions to the next level. By drafting him, they can give him a year or two to heal and learn how to play at this level. -

With the 109th pick in the 2020 draft, the Motor City Lions select Kindle Vildor, CB, Georgia Southern. We may have reached and picked a guy that could have been available in the 5th round but **** it, we wanted him, we got him. I'm not really sure who's picking after me so I'll leave that up to the commish. -
Which QB do you want the phish to draft?

This is my reasoning why I'd like to see them draft Fromm. -

They won't, but the NFL needs to test Gronk for steroids and cocaine, and they need to test Brady for HGH and other assorted TB12 drugs. The Bucs have now moved into my top 3 hate list. -

With the 85th pick in the 2020 NFL draft, the Detroit Lions select Ben Bredesen, G, Michigan. We wanted to go with a certain LB that shall remain nameless, but after careful consideration we decided to go with someone to try and keep Matthew Stafford from cracking his spine again. Bredesen who played at Michigan should improve our interior line. The Buffalo Bills with a poll are now on the clock ... take it away Virgil. -

Noah listened to captain Brodie and used a much bigger boat. The Flying Fish were on their own. -

With the 67th pick in the 2020 NFL draft the Detroit Lions select Noah Igbinoghene, CB, Auburn After the previous GM decided to trade Darrius Slay, we needed a CB. We've been hoping for the last dozen picks or so that Noah would fall to us. He did fall to us and he'll have every opportunity to see significant playing time if not the starting job if we get to play this year. -
Any chance Tua lands in New England?

I've seen Delpit play, I haven't seen Winfield play yet. I like what I've seen of this kids game, I thinks he'll go in the 1st round. -

Ya know, it's kind of cool drafting from home ... Yesterday I was in the restroom to make my pick, today I'm sitting in the hot tub with a tropical beverage in hand, #5 for the day if I can count right ... Anyway.... With the 35th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Lions are going to try and fix a secondary that last years idiots destroyed, therefore, with the 35th pick of the draft the DETROIT LIONS select Grant Delpit, S, LSU. Grant is a leader and will lead this secondary and team back to the playoffs ... GO LIONS. Don't tell me he was picked already ... I did that last year. -

RIP young man -
I saw them many times at the Warehouse back in the days. Max Creek, Resurrection and Holy Smoke played there a lot too. A couple of my favorite Dead shows were the 7/4/86 show at Rich stadium where the Dead opened for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and then Petty's band became Bob Dylan's band to close the show. Another great show was at Saratoga sometime in the early 80's. It was a warm drizzly day, at one point they were singing "Fire on the mountain" and you could see the lightning over the mountains in the distance. The music and camping were great that weekend. Also in the early 80's I saw an accoustic show with just Jerry, Robert Hunter and a stand up bass player at the Auditorium Theater in Rochester... great stuff. Lately it has just been the yearly DSO show at Frontier field that brings in a few thousand fans and they always play a great show.
