Somehow you just know that pick 133 will be a future HOFer.

Unless the team is really bad this year McDermott won't fire Beane.
In terms of passing on Mahomes... sure McD traded his draft rights to the Chiefs and he would've been very good but not potential GOAT here in Buffalo. Mahomes has had the fortune of playing under one of the GOAT offensive minds in the game where Allen has played for a Defensive HC that believes in complimentary football to keep his Defense off the field. Under Andy Reid Josh probably has a ring or two by this point.

In two years ...
LT - Dawkins
LG - McGovern
C - Van Pran-Granger
RG - Torrence
RT - Brown ... Another year and playing next to rookie Torrence improved his game, I expect another jump in play from him and he'll be re-signed.

The teams goal seems to be to win the AFC East every year, and they're doing good there, though their goals could and should be higher.
As far as philosophy, I'm as clueless as complimentary football. Do they want to slow the offense down so McDermott's defense is on the field less. If that's the case you need a new defensive philosophy.

We had him before, we traded him away. Now he can fight for Jesus.

Kincaid will lead the team in receptions and yards by quite a bit... Has a TE ever led the Bills in yards ?
-
32. Coleman - WR - Florida St
60. Bishop - S - Utah
95. Franklin - WR - Oregon
128. Carter - DT - Duke ... If he's not there ... Braelon Allen - RB - Wisconsin
To me, getting a 5th round pick instead of a 5th year option on your player isn't worth it, I would've stayed at 32.
Because I didn't move out of the first, my draft position in the later rounds would change ... Too lazy to figure out the rest.

Now they'll probably force the Bills to play in England every year... As the Home Team.

Beane has referred to Samuel as a "weapon" this offseason, not a WR. I think they signed him to be the much better version of McKenzie/Harty. He will get some outside looks like those players did from time to time but I don't think he is our Z. By the way I loved the Samuel signing but you need two starting caliber outside WRs on the roster and we just don't have that right now.
Harty barely saw the field, by default Samuel is going to have to see a lot of snaps.

But we pretty clearly are missing a WR on the roster right now. Coleman replaces Davis, Samuel replaces Harty, Hollins replaces Sherfield. There's one glaring replacement still missing. And I'm not saying I expect any rookie WR we add to match Diggs, but objectively there is a gaping hole on the roster there.
Samuel replaces Diggs.

They're just filling up the Practice Squad at this point.

The Punter that just went was probably BPA for the rest of the draft.

RB - Braelon Allen - Wisconsin
WR - Troy Franklin - Oregon
WR - Tez Walker - N. Carolina
CB - Kris Abrams - Draine - Mizzou
Edge - Austin Booker - Kansas
G - Keaton Bills - Utah

All 3 of the Bills picks tonight were team leaders in the locker room.

Beane likes his 2nd rd DE's (Epenesa, Boogie) this could be Marshawn Kneeland territory.

Realistic "Transition Year" Expectations
in The Stadium Wall
Posted
To me transition means they've lost more talent than they've added.
Until the schedule comes out it's too early to make predictions ... Maybe they'll sell a Bills home game to Qatar or someplace.
