It COULD end up much worse than 1.00 to 80 cents... We normally have about 800 billion is circulation but due to quantitative "easing" we have roughly 3 trillion as the Fed has tried to stimulate borrowing and spending. That gives us the potential anyway, of over 300% cumulative inflation rate if the economy picks up, and the Fed doesn't draw it back in quickly enough. But quite frankly, I think the gov is counting on that inflation to cut the deficit. It would be a tax hike on everyone without having to raise a single rate as people move into a higher income bracket...

but PBO is, once again trying to play the ending two wars as spending cuts. I think he needs to be called on that cause what's he gonna do? Go start 2 wars just to be able to say "I told ya so" ? with voting allowed by twitter, and texting your votes.... I like that idea!!! but most would prolly just switch to a different channel....

It has been HARRY that has not allowed bills to come to the floor for debate. It is HARRY that has not produced a budget resolution in over 3 years! It is HARRY doing this to try to stifle honest debate and amendment procedure. The Senate, BECAUSE of the 60 vote requirement is the reason things slow down in Washington, FOR THAT VERY REASON!!!! It slows legislation, often stopping it, otherwise any time a single party holds a majority, all bets are off since they could pass anything, by a simple majority. THAT, is Democracy folks... And this filibuster rule is the only thing left resembling our nation as a REPUBLIC which was established to protect the rights of the smallest of minorities, the individual against the majority...

When the buffoon argued against doing away with it, was over court nominees, that he disagreed with, and Bush had nominated. PBOCare, was passed through the Senate by this sort of maneuvering. As a new law, it was subject to filibuster, remember Brown as the 40th vote?? Reid attached it at the last minute, to a continuing resolution bill, making it part of a budgetary vote, that didn't need to pass filibuster... a bullsh1t move still winding it's way through courts.

Do away with filibusters when Barrack, Joe, and stinky Harry have argued against it in the past? Changing the Senate rules, also requires a 67 vote majority, but I see Harry plans to negate it with a simple majority... You Go Stinky!!!!
