  1. I get it... I know the law will probably be ignored once again... That however does not justify that so many people are so willing to throw their hands up in surrender and say, "Good luck pressing your case....." As I posted earlier... The issue is not Snowden at all, he is a mere distraction!!!! The real issue is that the government was doing this in the first place... Complacency much?? And
  2. You, and everone else, need to get off this traitor kick.... Wanna know why they haven't charged him yet??? Here: 18 USC § 2382 You see... IF THE ALLEGATIONS ARE TRUE!!!! Regardless of his job, or clearance, or any other thing, what the NSA is doing, violates the Constitution, PERIOD!!!! And IF the NSA is violating the Constitution, Snowden, along with anyone else that has knowledge of this, faces up to 7 years in prison if they DON"T report it!!!
  3. Y'all are too focused on the who, and not enough on the what.... The NSA, an extension of our Government, has been accumulating data, and possibly eavesdropping on the citizens of the United States... IF THAT IS TRUE, it is such a violation of the Constitution, as to make Snowden insignificant to the entire case. My wife asked me if I thought Snowden was a traitor, and was shocked when I told her "I don't care".... Look, as I said, if what he alleges is true, there are much, much, bigger fish to fry than him. Anyone involved in this has violated the Constitution, particularly Amendments 4, 5, and 10... No, I don't whether Snowden is brought to trial or not as a traitor... The line in front of him should be too long to worry about him....
  4. Your right.... I'm willing to cut them some slack for having their head too far up PBOs a55 to do anything now... I think we need to go in... rectally... and save our Republic....
  5. yup... another super secret committee to keep an eye on the American People, and ignore places and people that are "potential" problems....
  6. And I'm seeing all the talking heads saying it was totally legal... but therein lies the problem... Just because some dumbasses pass a law, doesn't make that law CONSTITUTIONAL!!!!
  7. Azalin, I wish you were right, but unfortunately, we're hearing defense of all this crap from the left AND the right. Most are establishment types, but it's there.... It HAS actually surprised me though, to hear many in the media, and young guns in Congress, both right and left. condemning the program... We'll see where it goes from here but even with the above joining the cause, I doubt the American people are following it....
  8. Japan is obviously a series of islands, so an attack on them, would most likely start there. Do defend it, you have to be able to fight off the attacker with a larger or at least better force. Since their own military is stretched across all the islands, they have to have a way to send in support.... As Tom said, by sea is the best way for this...
  9. Yes, "really".... We wrote it into their Constitution after WWII, that the military could only be used for defense. Since then, we have provided the majority of that defense which btw, happens to be one of the reasons they became such an economic power. Ya see, ya save a bit of money not having to provide for your own defense. Aside from that however, centuries of war in the Far East, has bred perhaps more distrust than even here. between Reps and Dems (that was a joke... maybe)... Similar to the Middle East, they tend to tolerate each other when it's convenient, but otherwise, hate each other...
  10. I thought I made my position clear in post #6... Let me rephrase I guess... I don't believe Valerie Jarrett has any intent to leave office.
  11. So.... are you calling him a traitor instead of a whistleblower? And "everything he knows" huh? You really think the Chinese need pointers on how to eavesdrop on and suppress it's people?
  12. This guy has gonads, and is doing what he feels is right for the country. The British newspaper has identified the source as 29-year-old Edward Snowden, who worked for defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton and was a former technical assistant for the CIA. The Washington Post followed the Guardian announcement by saying Snowden was the source for its surveillance stories that followed. Snowden told The Post from Hong Kong, where he has been staying, that he now intends to ask for asylum from "any countries that believe in free speech and oppose the victimization of global privacy.” Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/06/09/report-nsa-contract-worker-is-surveillance-source/#ixzz2VlRuzhtZ
  13. Way back in 2008 RF365 changed a lot in their format, and made people jump through hoops to stay, and post. That was when myself, and many others simply left and never went back, many migrated here, Rumblings, or both.... All due respect to Conner Bryne, but the writing was on the wall even then...
  14. More like he's been blocked by the American People who don't want to bring the scum of the earth into our borders.... Or do you fail to remember the uproar it caused when Holder tried to bring them to NY for trial???
  15. That's great news!!! I no longer have to back up my own system!!! I can now just contact the NSA and ask them to restore my data!!!
  16. I hope you're right, but I'm skeptical.... With 3 1/2 years left, he can't lay low that long. Meanwhile, DHS has grown into a behemoth, we have reached the point of at least one scandal a week, and POTUS is just as arrogant as ever. No.... He won't lay low because he can't... It's gone too far for that....
  17. I've said before, I don't believe Obama has any plans whatsoever to step aside in 2016..... "Who is John Galt?"
  18. I get it... but since term limits will never be imposed BY THOSE in office, on themselves, I think the better alternative might be, and I know it'll be controversial, but a litmus test.... If you might benefit financially by your vote, it is void This would also stop stoopid promises by those running for office, perhaps eliminating the McDermont's... Proggies seem to only win elections by promising things we can't afford to those that don't pay...
  19. Apparently this is a story in Canada, but it's rampant in the US as well. Face it, they want people to be sheeple instead, that's the goal of ALL government throughout history. The rampant disregard fr the Bill or Right is only a mirror of history.... Our Founders however, knew this would happen, and warned of, even as they wrote the document to try to protect it. Unfortunately, the understanding of the Constitution, and thereby, our knowledge of how to defend our rights, has been lost on us....
  20. Karen Kenny was even better... I would put this speech up against PBOs best any day....
  21. Nuland could always plead the 5th....
  22. Yup, sorta like telling the fox to investigate who's been getting into the hen house... I wonder if they all wipe each others a$$ too.... no I don't... scratch that visual...
  23. Meanwhile, back at the bottom of the mud pit, former IRS Commissioner Shulman says he doesn't remember why he visited the White House 118 times, since 2010 other than to take his kids for the Easter Egg Roll... Hmmmmm Do they still call it that? Isn't it a Spring Roll now? http://washingtonexaminer.com/irs-official-i-discussed-obamacare-during-white-house-visits/article/2530262
  24. When she gave her opening statement, declaring herself within the law, she voided ANY right to declare the 5th. She should never have been allowed to leave the chamber except in cuffs...
