I need to make an important point here, and I suspect the real reason McConnel said there will be a floor vote on any nominee Trump puts forward. The circus that was the Kavanaugh hearing are nothing compared to what is coming, and I think the American people need to see this. We tend to not pay much attention to politics until just before an election, so a lot of people have absolutely no idea just how bad the Kavanaugh hearings were. With Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, I wondered why Trump didn't nominate Amy Barrett. I came to realize it was for this very moment. If not her, I totally expect it to be a woman and our disgust over how they will treat a woman for the court could mean a Republican landslide.- 610 replies

Remember, it was Dingy Harry that did away with the judicial filibuster, NOT the Republicans. -

I think that, only if the election hinges on a replacement. But I really expect McConnell to vote on a Trump nomination perhaps even before the election. That Biden rule of no vote in an election year arguably only applies if opposite parties hold the Senate and Presidency. -

You're twisting in the wind here since that is not the intent at all. It should be the individual held responsible for their own actions and speech. -

Yup!!! If you provide a public service to the public, in a public forum you should be subject to those same Constitutional rules the public is subject to. -

Double digit IQ is not "injecting" intelligence but could help us understand why people are stupid enough to think Trump told them to "inject" bleach.... ... -

Yes we do, however in a lot of aspects, it's backwards. We have white only TV channels White only awards white only schools white only bars white only businesses white only communities Oh wait, no we don't... But we do have black only all of the above. How can we ever possibly get beyond this if some continue to chose segregation?

CBS All Access / VPN experiment failed

It's easy actually, but easy to forget to do. If you look at your geolocation before doing anything, you'll see it is there, but you can't click into it. That's okay though, just select another of the locations loaded, then click back to your created one. This activates it again... Hope you were still able to enjoy the game! -

Of course everybody forgot! Bush had only been POTUS for 7 1/2 months, so that could only mean golden boy Bill Clinton was responsible and we couldn't have that happen before Hillary became President! -

Afraid I don' have a way to test it, but i think CBS has a trial period, at least they did when i tried this for the first time last year. Just to double check... your longitude should be a negative number (a mistake I made once) Make sure you select your location. Click another one, then re-select it to make it work Okay, there is a way to test it, but it worked in Edge for me but not in Chrome... Again, click another geo-location, then re-select the one you want. Then i did a search for Pizza near me. First it's going to use your cache (cookies) to locate you. But click change, and allow the computer to find your location, This should use the Geo-location you programmed... I just came up with this -

Looks like MSG is based off your zip and provider. Problem with that is like my Sling account, it works off my billing address so changing Geo doesn't do anything regardless of the provider. I'm thinking of getting a PO Box though in town and opening a local bank account to try that... If anyone else beats me to it, let me know. -

Your welcome... Just remember, even with the spare laptop, you will need to re-select your new location every time you open CBS All Access. It will help though not to build an unwanted cache similar to using another browser.
