  1. A poor girl wants to marry, a rich girl wants to flirt A rich man goes to college, a poor man goes to work A drunkard wants another drink of wine, and a politician wants your vote I don't want much of nothing at all, but I will take another toke
  2. So sorry for your loss We had a similar experience with my mom, she passed 12 years ago at 86. The care givers are absolute angels and we were eternally grateful for the wonderful care she received. God bless you and your family.
  3. Now everybody tells me there's other ways to get high They don't seem to understand, I'm too far gone to try Now these lonely memories, they're all I can't lose And I'm down to seeds and stems again, too
  4. Here's one for all the early prog rockers
  5. The happier you fly The sadder you fall The laughter in your eyes Is never all Give me strength to move along Give me strength to realize she's gone

  7. Nice write up, thanks again for your effort. My golf bag inventory was 2 woods, a few irons, a putter, a couple dozen balls (I was guaranteed to lose at least dozen) and lots of room for ice and beer. (I was never a good golfer but I had fun drinking)😊 1and 2. The entire d line played very well. Star commanded double teams every time he was in.(one play he had 3 guys trying to block him) EJ is quick, and this year seams to be more purposeful in his path to the QB. Groot was the benificiary of that havoc produced, and was good staying with the rush and finishing for his sacks. I think the change from the gameplan from game 1 to 2 has more to do with the QB they were playing. Ben gets the ball out quick and still has the ability to get the ball down field, when opposing D's pressure from the secondary. I don't think that Tua has that skill set yet(if ever), so it was worth it for the Bills to gamble, and bring blitzes from the corners and safeties, which loosened things up for the D line to excel. Plus the DB's and LB's who were not coming did a good job covering the short routes, and we're also good in run support, taking the quick hitters away. 3. The pass pro still leaves a lot to be desired, and yeah it appeared that they were tempering that be leaving a TE or RB in for extra protection. Williams still looked slow, and even whiffed a couple of times on his blocks, he needs to step things up going forward. 5. Motor isn't any speed burner, but he looked good on his run TD. He does seem to hit the holes quicker this year. Moss is a bull for a smallish type guy, I love how he stays on his feet and competes for those extra yards. I thought on the one TD run he was stopped but he kept on moving, and was able to push forward for the score. 6. I guess we shouldn't complain when the O scores 35 points, but there is something not quite right here. Give the Fins secondary some props, because, they did play well. 7. The only problem I see on ST is the punt blocking (by our Oline, not the opposing team blocking our punts) and the Haack not getting his punts off quicker. Jones is awesome, glad they kept him around at cut time. 8 The Bills have been exceptional on 4th down D for couple of years now, the fins OC was foolish (or desperate) to go for it on at least 2 of their tries. 9 and 10 The defense as a whole has been solid in both games so far. Milano is all over the place making plays. Edmonds is maligned for not making big plays, but he takes away the middle passing lanes freeing others for that. Tre, Johnson, and the other DB's have done a good job in coverage and their blitzing assignments, which made the difference in this game harassing the QB. 11. Don't discount the WFT, they can play defense. Let's hope Daboll and Josh figure out their malaise on the O before Sunday. Go Bills!
  8. One more heartache, baby, I can't take it, now My heart is carryin' such a heavy load One more ache would break it Just like the camel with the heavy back, yeah One last straw, they say broke the camel's back
  9. Millen as the color guy, is certainly colorful, and I was generally amused. He also channeled Dandy Don when he said if Buffalo scores again " you can turn the lights out" I was thinking he was going to sing, I was glad he didn't
  10. You better leave at a-midnight slinking To the one who works it out I don't want to hear no rackem-tackem squeaking To go on and shut your mouth And everything is gonna work out tight If you ain't like you been told Just don't try to lay no boogie woogie On the king of rock and roll
  11. The creature from New Orleans Was the first to strike He came a-spittin' fire out to Take a life That screamin' devils feet never Touched the ground, while the Bird from Mexico tried to cut him Down But I never got to see who had Won the fight, that cottonmouth Farmer he shot out the light Took everybody's money and the Sheriff's wife, so welcome to a Louisiana #### fight Get it on - get it on
  12. When you base your love on credit and your loving days are done Checks you signed with love and kisses, later come back signed, "Insufficient funds" (Yeah, get to that)
  13. Another of my favorite albums (my brother initially purchased this album from Columbia House record and tape club, and I inherited it when he moved out. It actually it was 2 albums for 1 dollar, Grape jam and Wow packaged together) On this cut Mike Bloomfield sits in on piano, and jerry Miller plays guitar. Jerry Miller now tours with Eilien Jewel's band, and I was fortunate enough to meet him several years ago at the Grass Roots festival in Ithaca. We had all access backstage passes, I got from my nephew who was playing with Kevin Kinsella (they were former bandmates with John Brown's Body). Anyway Eilien Jewel was playing her set, and finished up when we we're backstage. I was very impressed by her guitarist, and came over to him to tell him how much I enjoyed his playing. Not knowing who he was at the time, he introduced himself as Jerry Miller, and the name seemed familiar. I thought about it all the way home, and it finally hit me that he was the guitarist for Moby Grape. I ran into him again at a show they did at the German House in Rochester, and told him the story of meeting him before. He actually chuckled a little and said he remembered that because at the time (when I didn't realize who he was) I had told him that he was the best guitar player I had ever heard from Idaho (that's where Eilien Jewel is from , even though he is not) And that's what he remembered. Here he is jamming with her band
  14. How 'bout some Danielia Cotton Saw her at the Rochester Jazz fest about 7 years ago, she's been a favorite ever since👍
  15. 1. That's nice that he bought his mom a car/jeep, he's a good kid 2. I am way cheaper than Ralph 3. I only bought 1 new car/truck in my life, and that was a huge mistake. It was an 86 GMC pickup and, the only reason i bought it was because it had air conditioning( I lived in AZ. at the time), and I needed to haul things. It was under powered (crappy 6 cyllinder) and didn't even come with a radio. I have had great luck with used Chevy tahoes, I would buy them with 150 to 200k on the odometer, and if you changed the oil and lubed them regularly they would run forever, my last one was 20 years old with 389k, before it was done. Toyota's are great too, a friend has a 2004 Camry with over 500k on the odometer, everything still works, body is straight, and it looks good after a new paint job last year. Kind of makes me jealous when I see it him drive it.
  16. Another great blues guitar cut from Mike Bloomfield "Stop" from Super Sessions album with Al Kooper and Stephen Stills (one of my all time favorite albums)
  17. Sticking with the blues, here's one from The Electric Flag, with Mike Bloomfield's ripping guitar and Nick Gravenites on vocals
  18. I hope Efe gets all the love and support from Bills fans that he deserves, and finally finds a permanent place to call home, and I express that opinion before he even plays a down for us in the regular season. Successful in football or not, he is a star in my book just for surviving his early life, and coming through that with the positive attitude that he has. Good luck to you Efe I hope you become the special player that you have worked so hard to be, and of course Go Bills.
  19. Take a hard look around you, baby Ain't nobody got it made You can live in your head You can live in your heart And if you don't live at all Why the hell did you start A thrills a thrill A Thrills a thrill Even in paradise
  20. Here is something little different from a Rochester band from the 80's. These guys had a bit of a cult following outside western NY, in the roots community. RIP Chuck (Colorblind James)
  21. John Mayer is definitely underrated as a blues guitarist Here are a couple from one of my favorite bands, The Buddaheads (RIP Alan Mirakatani).
  22. Yum crow, it's the other dark meat.😊
