RIP Chick, he and RTF were one of the fusion bands that led me to be a faithful listener to Jazz. Sorry to hear he's gone.

Aorta was a budding prog rock band from Chicago. The self titled album Aorta was a concept album when it was introduced in 1969 , I'm not sure it was made to be creepy (describes conditions of one's heart experience leading up to a heart attack), just different. (And it was)

So I'm sitting as the bar stool it starts to grow roots Feelin' like an old worn out pair of shoes Tell me what is it that I should do When I'm swimming in the liquor only half way through So I'm watching as his wings spread as wide as could be Come on now and wrap them around me 'Cause all I want to do now is fall to sleep Come down here and lay next to me Thank you Jack Daniel's Old Number Seven Tennessee Whiskey got me drinking in heaven Up here the bottle never runs dry And you never wake up with those tears in your eyes

These tears we spill They haunt us still The cries of the weak lie quiet in sleep Beneath our feet We are the sons of holy wrath A shining light in the dark The ones who walk amongst despair No sign of fear in our hearts Stand in death’s way Shut out the voice of mindlessness Open your eyes to the truth Believe the words that stand the test And not the slurs of the youth You’re not what they say

You take a mortal man And put him in control Watch him become a god Watch people's heads a-roll A-roll, A-roll Just like the Pied Piper Led rats through the streets We dance like marionettes Swaying to the Symphony of Destruction

Let's dance Put on your red shoes and dance the blues Let's dance Dance to the song they're playing on the radio Let's sway While color lights up your face Let's sway Sway through the crowd to an empty space

If I had a million dollars (If I had a million dollars) I'd buy you a house (I would buy you a house) If I had a million dollars (If I had a million dollars) I'd buy you furniture for your house (Maybe a nice chesterfield or ottoman) If I had a million dollars (If I had a million dollars) I'd buy you a K-Car (A nice reliant automobile)

Icy wind of night, be gone This is not your domain In the sky a bird was heard to cry Misty morning whisperings and gentle stirring sounds Belied a deathly silence that lay all around Hear the lark and harken to the barking of the dog fox gone to ground

Thats just about right, but true Bills fans are resilient, and we will be back next year to cheer again even harder. Personally I've been conditioned to expect this from the Bills, but someday..... I Don't know how the Sabres fans do it though (bless their hearts)

I hope I'm stoned when Jesus takes me home Flying high through those clouds Knowing I don't have to ever come down I'm rolling up a J Just in case today's the day I hope I'm stoned when Jesus takes me home I believe he put it down here for all of us to use A little piece of heaven to take away your blues I know I'm far from perfect and I'll call a sin a sin But I feel closer to the Lord every time I breathe it in
