but he has been here 3 years and the only thing this staff has really done with him is used him in practice to simulate tight man coverage because he cant play zone and he was strictly an over aggressive handsy man corner that did not fit this zone concept when we drafted him. the simple fact that this staff did nothing with him is so telling of this staff. youd think after 3 off seasons somebody would have shown him something as it relates to playing zone or at the very least found a way to use him. hell try him out at safety.

there is a bigger issue at hand. Beane drafts Cook and immediately says Cook is going to be a receiving option out of the backfield or used in the slot but McDermott doesnt trust (like) certain players/rookies so Cook is depth bench bound and 1 fumble means Cook is in the doghouse for 2 or 3 games. or everything looks like Keon is a project red zone target at best. remember how they went on and on about his basketball background and how he was going to be used in jump ball situations with his ability to box out and high point the ball even though everything combine and film related was saying Keon cant beat man coverage and what do we have? a receiver that isnt aggressive attacking the ball in the air. look at the games and count the amount of times he waits for the ball to come to him allowing the defender to get a play on the ball where it could have been defensive pass interference but because he waits for it, good play by the defender breaking up that pass. and remember, Josh wasnt the 1st qb. remember the Peterman experiment and the simple fact it was tried twice to say he was an upgrade over Tyrod Taylor and lets not pretend like Josh was a sure thing. Josh was a 50 - 50 player that had accuracy issues his rookie year that this staff was ok with. Josh took it upon his self to go rework his own mechanics in the off season. and dont forget Jake Fromm. yeah he was only a 5th round pick BUT you got Josh Allen and at this stage he looks like he was a hit. Matt Milano and Wyatt Teller were also a 5th round pick just for comparison.

this mentality is wrong and needs to stop, the bills were bad by design. mr wilson lost money those superbowl years and figured out a way to make the bills a very very profitable business venture which is why during the last major CBA the nflpa wanted to see the books of 2 teams, the packers and the bills. what happens to that money that is ear marked for contract incentives and the conditions arent met, the owner pockets it. also keep this in mind the salary cap goes 2 ways, there is a max you arent supposed to go over and there is a minimum you have to spend. alot of folks are not aware of that part. think about it this way, how long did it take the bills to end their playoff drought after the bills got a new owner?

i disagree, go back and take a serious look at that Denver game. that was a game where the bills were coached to win. never took their foot off of the gas until the very tail end of the 4th. baltimore and kc, they were coached not to lose or more specifically, they were coached to try to protect the defense while trying to play ball control time consuming ball.

i say take a walk down memory lane and think back to last year when von was out. he was actually pretty stable and looked to be solid at LEFT END and was getting pressure and numbers as well as maintained his lane. then von came back WHEN HE WASNT READY as he even admitted this past offseason and greg was parked to the sideline when von wanted some playing time. same thing this year, earlier in the year when von was suspended greg was more than serviceable at LDE with Epenesa on the right using his length to disrupt passing lanes. then von comes back from his suspension and has those sack incentives so greg gets moved to RDE when von is in where greg is 100% ineffective and Epenesa is the one watching from the sidelines. how many times have we watched von do that spin move into the help of the opposing RG just to get it stuffed while totally surrendering the escape route to the outside for the opposing qb's while watching von go into ok well that didnt work, let me go into jog mode. and then von starts coming in when it aint even passing situations, its 2nd and 3 why is von coming out onto the field ... Greg and AJ both played without any fire most of the time because just when it looked like they were getting settled back into the respective positions Von would call for the tag in and disrupt Greg and AJ once again. is Greg going to make us forget about Bruce, no and no one was asking him to be that guy BUT he is damn sure better than Von at this stage.

dont get your hopes up, unless im wrong and the main reason so many US based people was using game pass international is because the US based gamepass, now known as NFL+ only shows local market regular season, primetime and playoff games.
