You have no idea how much Micah helped last year. we need talent…..and you expect us to have 16 talented players on the PS that can contribute and play? We’re a perennial Super Bowl contender with very few roster spots up for grabs each year. All 16 spots on the practice squad aren’t strictly to be used for players that may contribute. Some are there possibly play. Some are there to develop with no chance of playing this season. And some are clearly there to mentor. Whether or not some fans think that these mentors help is irrelevant to McD and Beane. Thank god for that. it’s cool man. I’ll sit back and enjoy the show you guys put on

Apologies if I misinterpreted. “This cat”, could only have one meaning in my eyes. I didn’t think the cat was drafting cornerbacks in the first as I don’t think that’s something that “has lives”…. but apparently I’m wrong.

Just wondering how many nfl vets you’ve spoken to about this? It’s a nice paycheck. He went from making $0 to $21k a week to do what he loves with people that he loves. Wake up
-
Pretty sure he makes 21k per week on the PS. Do the math. It’s not chump change. He’ll probably get a chance to play if the guys they currently have get injured or show that they suck. I think he’s there to be a locker room guy, help the youngsters and get a ring
-
Agree 💯
-
Because vets hate camp. Especially vets that looked extremely washed last season. It’s my worthless opinion that Beane and Po have been in contact about this prior to signing him and was part of the plan. if he’s signed to the 53 man roster- then 🤦🏻♂️
-
If it’s a roster spot- I agree. If it’s a PS spot- I disagree
-
Is it a dumb dumb dumb signing if he’s signed to the PS to help the young draft investments learn the system, mentor them and be a locker room presence? imo, the PS has many potential uses now. Not just to develop young players.
-
To the PS is my bet
-
LOL. Good grief man. The season hasn’t even started yet. If he was healthy and named the starter…. We’d still have nothing to show for it. He got injured in preseason- he’s sure to be a bust…..and Beane should’ve known he was going to get hurt. He should’ve known “not to play with fire”. The fire that’s a figment of your imagination.
-
No, you didn’t say that. But you wouldn’t be saying that if Hairston didn’t get hurt.
-
no- he is incapable of evaluating talent outside of Carolina. Great poast Are you even capable of not going overboard whenever Beane does something that you don’t agree with?
-
He “doesn’t deserve” to make the practice squad. 🤣 maybe the worst take ever. “He only played special teams”. Thanks for the laugh.
-
Just maybe they don’t think that Tony Jefferson will be instrumental in us making the Super Bowl?
-
We drafted Maxwell Hairston, the fastest player in the draft and the 4th best corner in the draft. We’ve never had a corner that can turn and run with true downfield threats. we have Benford to matchup with the bigger more physical WRs. Those are the guys that will give Hairston trouble and those are the guys that Benford will be covering. Who knows how he turns out, but Beane bet on traits. And I’m glad that he bet on the speed trait. If he can becomes a plus starter, it will allow us to play more aggressively. No offense, but I would bet my last penny that you would be saying we needed to draft matchup speedy corner if Beane had drafted a press man corner and he got injured.
-
So him getting injured should have an impact on Beanes job? no
-
Miles ahead of Hamlin, 💯 Miles ahead of Rapp, I don’t agree with in the least. If no one signs him, I definitely think we should put sign him to the PS and let him learn the system. Could be an upgrade after a month or so. I don’t think he’d be an upgrade after reading the playbook and practicing in the system for 13 days. It’s obvious that knowing the system is McDs MO, especially when it comes to DBs

BEANE SUCKS!!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE HE DIDN’T DRAFT HIM end sarcasm
-
Sucks for Rasul. i loved his attitude and competitiveness he brought. Great teammate and locker room presence. He’s a good corner to defend our short rac passes. Solid tackler. Good luck Sul, I appreciated you even though you looked washed last season

Bills Initial Roster - No real surprises
NewEra replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
He didn’t have to. We didn’t cut anyone of worth. Wait for a couple injuries league wide. Hes on the clock though. Barring injury, he’s gonna need 2 spots in 4 weeks and another 2 in 6 weeks . -
I can’t believe we kept that LOSER Shavers!!!
-
I’m glad that we cut Ciarlo IF we only keep 5 LBers. If we keep Ulofoshio over him…. That would be a bummer. I’m hoping 5 LBers because that’s one of the ways we can keep 6 WRs
-
If Beane cuts Allen, that would be grounds for firing. I’m sure we could get at least a pick swap for him!
-
🤣 yeah- I can’t remember if I commented much on drafting him, but I was not a fan of the pick. I was hoping for Andrew Booth, Kyler Gordon, Dax Hill, Christian Watson or George Pickens.. post draft- like most of my posts, I was in the lets wait and see how he progresses before handing in the verdict
