  1. I don’t think the games are rigged- I think that the officiating could be fixed by adding 10-20M to their books with technology and payroll. They have decided not to do it for 15 years. The technology is there. Buy it. Use it. the national narrative is that the league has serious officiating problems. Much worse than any other sport. They could attempt to change that. But they don’t. Why?
  2. Thanks Gonzalo- that’s a good one this early in my the game. give me royals over tre Harris
  3. I’ve alwyas thought that there was some ref bias in the nfl- never sure what rhyme or reason other than being in favor of the better teams- but I’ve always tuned into every game. now- I think I’ve had my fill. This last Bills game really has me feeling a certain way. Several calls that could’ve gone either way- each of them went in favor of KC. The many awful spots really has me very angry. There were at least 4 in which which were dam close to clear first downs in which we were marked short. Not even short… but an entire yard short. What should’ve been 1-6 inches- turned out to be 3-4 feet short. Coopers and Cooks catch’s were the most egregious. Just awful spots. so I don’t think I’ll be tuning into the Super Bowl this year. Not that the nfl will care- more so that I really dgaf about it this season.
  4. They don’t want to fix it- this is the problem and this will likely never change. we’ve been talking about the eye in sky (or multiple eyes in the sky) the for 15 years now. It was a simple answer then, just as it is now. Too bad the nfl has it just as they want it
  5. The nfl has exactly what they wants. Full control. It will never change to the point where the average fan is happy. If it did, the nfl will lose their control.
  6. Analyzing draft prospects- spending more time with fam
  7. Yeah I know- I get what you guys are laying down. I’m not talking about Cook in pass protection. I wish they had handed cook the ball. I’m not sure why he would’ve been out there in pass protection to begin with.
  8. For sure- young was amazing. I just don’t think he’s as athletically gifted as 17
  9. This would be an amazing draft. Getting Bech at 152 makes it gold. Too bad I don’t think there’s any chance he drops that far I love burden- but I think he’s best inside. Same with Ebuka. Both can probably play some outside- but they’ll have to play strictly outside for us unless we let Shakir walk after the season
  10. You think Steve young is more athletically gifted? I don’t.
  11. Agreed It what world does that make sense? The finance world is the only answer I can come up with
  12. Yuuuuuup. Lots of luck involved. Benfords injury and the refs = all the luck they needed
  13. The red helmets are repulsif
  14. What are you hoping we do this offseason to address the position?
  15. And the question he posed in this thread is why wasn’t he “used”? IMO- he’s asking why didn’t we give him the dam ball. So the story of running the same plays goes out the window
  16. The result was going to be the same if we ran different plays? Huh? Maybe…. But to pretend to know that? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Cook was killing it and should’ve been to focal point of our offense vs KC imo. Our run game has been the catalyst to our offensive success this season imo. When we ran a vs KC, we had success. Season on the line- abandon it. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I wasn’t a fan of not using him enough with the game on the line
  17. How about just run it right? For once. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  18. He’s asking why he was “used”- as in why aren’t we giving him the dam ball. He shouldn’t have been out there to pass block- correct. But we should’ve ran him. He was our best player in the run game and our 2nd best player in the pass game. Last drive of the game- he doesn’t get a touch.
  19. Yeah- it’s a tough draft for the type of WR we’re looking for- potential WR1. I think the only way we can get what would make people here happy is via trade. I agree about Bond. But he seems like a strict north south kind of an athlete from what I’ve seen so far. Very little wiggle. But he can run deep Golden is probably the closest that might be available. Royals could be a rd 2 candidate. I really like Jack Bech. If he lands somewhere with a good QB, he’s gonna be a stud imo. Savion Williams is kinda like metcalf but way more raw. Jayden Higgins is a savvy big guy, but not enough speed for this crowd.
  20. Abdul Carter to 6. I’d trade the house for him. thanks as always GB- predicting 27,27,28 of the first rd picks in January is remarkable I’ll take a deeper look when I get some time. I do expect a Dat and an Edge with 2 of our first 3 picks
  21. He’s not asking why he wasn’t pass blocking. He’s asking why he wasn’t used. I agree. We throw the ball to Samuel on 2nd and 10. Meh. Cook should’ve been involved a lot more than he was. I agree 💯. He’s a stud and we let KC off easy by not using him enough
  22. We could never be that lucky. Spags will be there until he retires
  23. The quality of the OCs not being as good as the DC on the other side. And the quality of the DC not being as good as the OC on the other side. this will be the case until Reid and Spags step down. Reid and Mahomes lucked into the best DC in the league that no one will ever want as a HC.
  24. Nah- they never really had a chance- we’ve had several monumental chances- a lifetime roller roaster of emotions. Our blood pressure has been places other fans have not. The lions and browns have had no roller coaster. Just a Sunday drive of being bad almost every year. Zero wear and tear on their bodies
  25. I’m going to be really disappointed if we lose him. He’ll be 32 at the start of next season and I think that’s our best chance at getting him back. If he were younger, he could be getting 8M+. He’s such an important piece to this offense.
