  1. Adams, Cooper or Slayton. Get one and then hope they can gel with 17 before the playoffs
  2. Everyone liked him more. One cost multiple draft picks. Another got us a draft pick in return. I agree that I would’ve liked to trade up- but the price was much more- as in two day 2 picks, maybe more.
  3. He was a monster for a handful of games and terrible for the most part. Me thinks he got a little full of himself after a strong start and the SB hype, then fell off a cliff. He’s a PS candidate at best for this team
  4. Lol- please show me where I waxed poetic about our WR room. Maybe you’re alluding to my protest of the statement “this is our worst WR in 40+ years”…….. I’ve always said our WR room is worse this year than last. I’ve always said that I was hoping to add higher end talent to this unit. Maybe you’re confused by the fact that I’m a realist and have always understood that this would be a transition to a new WR unit and adding high end talent was doubtful due to that salary cap thing. I hope it was predicable that people would lay blame on Allen when blame was due. Unlike you and others who lay no blame in Allen even when he has an OBVIOUSLY poor game throwing the ball with accuracy. He was bad last game. You won’t find anyone outside of this board that watched that game and thought otherwise. yes- I wanted Dorsey fired. Thankfully he was or we would’ve likely missed the playoffs. I laughed when Cleveland hired him and the results there are even more laughable. 17, 18, 15, 16, 13 points.
  5. Right, by trying to somewhat go all in and win a Super Bowl by signing Von Miller. It was working- and then he tore his acl and we lost him for 2 playoff runs. if we didn’t sign von, people would be crying about Beane wasting Josh Allen’s prime year. Pass rush is the 2nd most important aspect (to QB play) to winning Super Bowl. He tried and injury lost 2 seasons. Big swing. Big miss.
  6. Rebuilding from salary cap hell. That should be obvious
  7. Ceedee smoked our cover 2 last year 😆guys like Hill and Waddle too? ! Guys like Harrison and McBride. Mahomes and Reid beat cover 2 two seasons in a row by dinking and dunking, improvising and running the ball. most of those elite playmakers listed are getting paid rookie contract or are playing with a QB on a rookie contract. Coming from you, of course their vision was “ball control and conservative O”. While it was obvious to many that we were looking to attack the short passing game/rac that we’ve lacked for years. It’s been discussed- but the mcd hater has to put his negative spin to say that his plan was to have a crappy offense without good WRs. the talk of the offseason was how the entire league now plays cover 2 shell 80% of the time. You beat that by meticulously picking it a part 4-10 yards at a time. And we did that’s the first 3 games. Baltimore confused us and we had no answer. Houston didn’t play the shell and we had no answer (especially with no Shakir). maybe we should have kept diggs? The guy that would’ve taken down our locker room brick by brick. After we traded him, maybe we should’ve gone into the world of make believe where we can just snag 2 great WRs and add them to our team. It’s a salary cap transition year in which they pieced what they could together while creating room for next season and thereafter- some people realize that. Some people don’t.
  8. Worthy 🤣 get hands on him and he’s to weak to go anywhere
  9. I certainly had a good idea that they were developing an offense to combat the cover 2 shell. You didn’t? 🤷🏻‍♂️ it’s not this hasn’t been discussed here
  10. I agree. Houston rarely if ever plays if and they stuck with what they play. I don’t want to see MVS EVER again. He might be good for 2-3 plays this season at the expense of 20 other incompletions
  11. But what they’re saying is 💯 true. It was then. It is now. This team was constructed to beat cover 2 shell- short, underneath and rac. Now that teams going cover 1 and forcing us to win outside, we can’t…. Like we all figured would happen. It’s just not many of us were thinking the league would switch it up on us (not that they are, Houston always plays cover 1, hence the problems last week).
  12. I agree. Just saying I’d be happy with it 😜
  13. Good lord Ben Johnson HC, Saleh Dc. I’d be happy with that, assuming we don’t make the SB
  14. I get the comparison and I can see some of it but since 2020 the Steelers have invested MUCH more on offense than defense. Rounds 1-4- 16 picks on offense- 6 picks on defense. Tomlin just needs to luck himself into a stud QB and his teams will be in the contention
  15. Where’s the defender? Not even in the still shot. He definitely old have caught it- but the throw made it more difficult than it should’ve been. No reason to throw it that far outside. He was throwing ball oob all day. lol- Allen makes me very happy- I’m an Allen homer. He was AWFUL on Sunday. If you don’t see that, then there’s nothing that will ever make you say a bad word about him
  16. Because there was an easy play to make, instead, he throws too far wide which leads Kincaid OOB. It was not a “great throw”. A 75% completion chance to Kincaid IF he throws a more accurate pass. The placement made it more difficult than an accurate pass would’ve
  17. Considering you haven’t see the all-22, you can’t say that with any certainty
  18. I deserve it, I know 😉 what we do know is, Josh didn’t get us a TD. Trubisky may only have had a .5% chance of scoring, but at this point, that’s better than the 💯 fail we got from Allen
  19. I think Slayton could happen. I don’t the see others happening. Cooper makes sense but dude has EIGHT drops this season and has been part of the reason their offense sucks. Do we trust him? If the price is right, it’s worth the risk. I think someone else will make a harder play for Adams. The price would be too high for us as they’d have to eat a lot of that cap hit he carries. I’d be happy with Hopkins at the right price. Slayton makes sense- he’s faster than all of the above and can help keep defenses honest- if Josh shows that he can actually hit a WR on a deep ball.
  20. That’s insane- and a fair amount of the kicks were in Buffalo, the windiest stadium in the league
  21. Agreed- things looked bleak, but then again, I always have hope because we have Josh Allen. In a game where Brady and Allen were both awful, the D (and stroud) gave us a chance with some big turnovers. Too bad the offense couldn’t do anything with them
  22. I agree that they lost the game because of Allen. If he’s 70% of his normal self I think we win, but he waIf he had hit either Kincaid or Hollins on the long shot, I think we win. 1/17 games. Offense doesn’t look good right now, but the season is long and things can change quickly. We need a healthy Shakir. A shiny new toy would be nice to considering that McKenzie >>>>>>>> Samuel apparently
  23. It’s baffling
  24. I’m not saying guys were open every play, but when guys were open, Kincaid and hollins deep may have been 14 points. Hollins again over the middle, Josh threw behind him. The screen to Samuel, poor ball placement led to a loss. And that’s just from the TV view. Our WRs, minus Shakir are a poor unit, no doubt….. but Josh was terrible
