I think TJ Sanders is going to be a star and I think we’ll see why at start in training camp. Hancock, Hawes and Prather are guys I have hope for being great depth. If Hancock picks up the McBabich playbook and shows he can stick in coverage, I think he takes Cams job (as most do). Hawes might be my favorite value pick, as he does something exceptionally well, blocking. And that one thing he does well is something that Brady knows how to use in the run and short passing game. He might not be a great receiver, it I think he’s better than people say. Chip, leak then catch. I like Prather as a practice squad guy. In time (2026+) I could see him getting some snaps Big fan of Strong and his value too. The CB room is deep and I hope he shows out and earns a spot in camp. Not sure he’ll make it to our PS. FA adds- I expect Elijah Moore to get a pay increase next season that will likely yield us a compensatory pick. I really like Joe Andreeson too. I can’t stand Draymond. i was a warriors fan, but he didn’t get along with my boy Barnes. I can’t stand that he cost Barnes another title by hitting LeBron in the nuts. He wasn’t a pure defensive guy. He was a tremendous passer. He also averaged over 1.25 3’s per playoff game. He wasn’t a great shooter by any means, but he hit clutch shots. He was a key to 4 championships and a dynasty. Without him, they probably win none. I watched every game over those years (as Harrison Barnes was my guy). His defense and leadership in crunch time crucial to them winning titles. Tony Parker and Manu are in the HoF because they were instrumental in winning championships. draymond will be in.

No- What I’m saying is- wait and see. Listing other players accomplishments or failures as proof that a player will have success or not proves nothing. I don’t like it as much as I used to either, but I can still watch the game (I watch nba, college, BIG3 and G-league) and see how the skill level is much greater now than it was in the 80’s. These kids play WAY more ball nowadays and have much higher levels of training and coaching available to them. And it shows.

And even with bad tape, he was on pace for around 1000 yards as a 21 year old rookie. His yards and big plays were mostly all him too. The scramble drill big play vs Detroit was mostly Josh, but Coleman was still got open- even being so slow. Crazy how many people are writing him off solely because of his 40 time. Route running can improve and I think we’ll see that he’s improved

You seem to love hammering an impressive rookie that got hurt and struggled afterwards. He’s made plays everywhere he’s been. you wouldn’t like to have Alec Pierce on the team? He’s back.

And he was good before the injury. Made some big time plays. Almost 20 yards per catch led the league as a slow rookie. 5th in yard per target and 7th in yards after contact among WRs. Imagine that. not sure why the heavy emphasis on his play after getting injured while not mentioning that he was impressing prior to the injury. New season- no injury- put in work. He’s going to be a solid weapon. Is he going to be “the WR1 that we need” according to so many? Probably not. A good WR2- I think so but we’ll see.

It was Kincaid prior to last seasons disappointing series of events. He could be my favorite but I’m still a little sour. Keons personality has won me over. He kills it in his interviews and has been saying ALL the right things and seems as if he’s been putting in the work this offseason. He’s up there. Shakir’s RAC ability gets me the most hyped. I hate to say this, the traditions and rivalries are going to be a thing of the past now that kids can portal out and take the biggest pay day on a year to year basis. I’m happy they are getting paid. The kids deserve it imo…. But i think it will be at the expense of rivalries and tradition at the higher levels of college basketball. I’ve been a die hard UNC fan since Worthy beat Ewing in the 82 title game. Watching the players develop over the years while playing against the same players on the other acc teams was what I enjoyed the most. The rivalries were a school thing….but the players were the ones that made the rivalries so great. It was so fun to hate on Ferry, Laettner, Hurley, Jwill, Reddick and Woj. Nowadays, it seems as if 1 out of 2 great players will either go pro after one year or portal out to the highest bidder. I really hope that I’m wrong for the sake of one of my favorite past times, but the money changes everything.
