  1. Yeah that is definitely part of the charm. I love how small everything seems. More of what I was alluding to was the style and how long it took from trends and music tho hit western NY in the 80’s and 90’s. I went to HS in New Paltz NY. Upstate, but only a 2 hour drive to ya kee stadium. We’d drive down once a week or two to catch games and pick up all the DJ mixed tapes from street vendors. When we’d take family trips to the Buffalo area I’d always be shocked at the music my cousins were listening too and branding it as “new”, when I had been listening to it for a year or so. Same went for fashion trends. News travelled slowly. Social media and the internet has likely changed that aspect. I can’t really compare and contrast to how things are in 2022. Everything travels fast and I couldn’t care less about those kinds of things anymore. I’m sure kids in that area are much hipper and “caught up” in todays world.
  2. Dude is gonna make sooooooooo much money in the next 20+ years
  3. That money will likely always be there. He’s the HC of a loaded perennial SB contender. Some of these guys love the camaraderie of being part of a team And the competitiveness. If it were me, I agree with you, I’d jump to the booth and take the money and the 6 month a year job. 💯
  4. @StHustleyou have to be better than this my man! Cmon!!! Rise up!!
  5. I feel bad for those fans that can admit he’s dirt. Those that defend him deserve every ounce of pain they should inevitably feel. But I still feel he’s going to get a slap on the wrist, which is anything less than a 2 year suspension imo.
  6. I’ve felt that way about every town in western NY since I was in college.
  7. And having that rookie get smashed and miss a few games
  8. About where would you rank him?
  9. Which “big name coaches” are free agents? The guys that just got fired. McD would likely be the biggest name coach on the market. He shouldn’t be fired after this year unless it’s obvious that he’s a terrible coach, which is highly unlikely. No super bowl appearances after the next 2 years and he might deservingly be a free agent looking for a new job.
  10. You might argue that the Bills made the playoffs despite Mcdermotts decision. I wouldn’t. His 2nd year was the season where the all the dead money from the previous seasons departures crippled the cap hence the “tank season”. Can’t suck blood from a stone. Wood retired, incognitos went crazy. Our OL went from good to terrible. Other than the OL, the weapons were the same. The offense was inept. The defense added star, trent, edmunds, Kevin Johnson, HPhillips and TJohnson. But with the worst OL ever created, nothing else mattered. We won 3 less games than McDs first year. most people would think that a team starting the 2017 versions of tyrod, shady, Benjamin, Zay, dionte Thompson and Charles clay would be in the running for the #1 pick in the draft. Mcdermott ended a 17 year playoff drought instead. Despite starting peterman.
  11. Congrats gents. Josh Allen will most likely get both of them GM positions within the next 2-3 years.
  12. Cleveland said they did their research. They should’ve done more. Your team made a huge mistake and they deserve to feel the wrath of committing such a terrible mistake. To trade all of those picks is one thing…..but to then give him that utterly ridiculous contract…. Oh man. They deserve pain. I feel bad for you guys as fans but I think he’s still going to get a slap on the wrist compared to what he should get. A lifetime ban or minimum 2 year suspension imo.
  13. So what did they think about McDs first season, when they had your boy Tyrod and Nate peterman leading the team to the playoffs while throwing to Kelvin Benjamin and Zay Jones. The same season everyone proclaimed us to be tanking based on the talent level of the roster. Yet McD broke the playoff drought…..in his first season. I’m sure that carries zero weight….
  14. And you don’t pay a 33 year old difference maker all that money just to watch him sit on the sideline injured. There are great reasons why he’ll be part of the rotation. I fully expect Rousseau to out snap miller during the season and for Miller to play similar snaps to what Basham plays this season. Likely a bit higher % but I wouldn’t expect much more. AJ is a different story. We have no idea wth this guy is going to be this year.
  15. Agreed. He was a failure in Carolina as an OC. His QB play had a big say in that, but so did his play calling (according to a couple Carolina fans I know). They’re glad he was fired. Now it’s time for him to hopefully learn and improve as a coach while adding any positives that he brings to the table.
  16. He’s on the team because some deem him a good offensive mind and McD thinks he can help our team. He helped Joe Burrow transform into a superstar. He’s a good candidate to replace Dorsey as OC if/when Dorsey is named a HC or is fired.
  17. It takes me like 4 days to make one hat. Too much demand.
  18. I’m not saying you should’ve excluded him from “outside”, but instead add him to slot. He’s our most versatile WR (minus Diggs) and will likely be doing a bit of everything.
  19. If @Gene1973 is involved, always read the thread. The more exposure you have, the easier it becomes. You may actually find it entertaining.
  20. Why list Shakir as outside/KR/PR and not slot? His best position is Slot. While he’s currently our 3rd best outside WR (because we don’t have any other true outside guys that don’t suck) and we already have 2 slot WRs but he’s likely to be our starting slot WR in 2023 and still has to prove he can play the outside in the nfl. I think he can pull it off, but adding a true outside guy would be smart.
  21. Yeah they need lots of help @ CB. Just strange that the 1st corner he took was a midget slot guy. Maybe he really values his return potential. Idk.
  22. Probably just wait and see how these guys do. If someone gets hurt, restructure someone’s contract if there’s still anyone worthwhile available.
  23. All signs pointing to Sanders wanting to retire. Signing him doesn’t seem to be an option. i agree, I’d rather sign a higher caliber WR than Austin.
